Aly Michalka lands role in ‘Hellcats’
Phil of the Future actress Aly Michalka has just landed herself a role in a new CW television series! Aly has been cast in a new show called Hellcats, which is centered around college competitive cheerleading.
A drama set in the world of competitive college cheerleading. The former will play Marty Berger (“wicked smart, an acerbic outsider”), a student at Memphis’ Lancer University who’s forced to try out for the Hellcats – the college’s competitive cheerleading team – after she loses her scholarship. O’Grady will play her mother Wanda who tends bar at a rathskeller type snack bar on campus that serves food and drinks.
Can’t wait to hear more about the show!

Gail O'Grady getting cast in this pilot is a JOKE! Who did she screw for this part? She is a manipulative liar, and a disgrace to mothers, and real victims everywhere. Bad move on CW's part. There are many, MORE deserving actresses out there for the role. Gail O'Grady needs help, not a tv show. She should concintrate on being a good mother and not use her innocent son as prop for disgusting publicity stunt to falsely accuse people of heinous acts.
