Despite a couple of set backs, Canadian pop sensation Justin Bieber‘s movie based on his rise to fame is still happening! The movie will be directed by John Chu, who was also the director of Step up 3D.

“Most people don’t know that his is a true underdog story, and I hope to tell it in a compelling, genuine way, using all source materials available to convey his tale of becoming an icon for this digital age,” John said in an interview.

The movie is said to be part documentary, and is aimed at a February 2011 release.

With his big 21st birthday just one day away (August 15th), Joe Jonas has been chatting about what he would like for his special day – a dog.

“Besides a dog, I don’t know. That’s all I kind of wanted. I don’t know what we’re going to do to celebrate. These guys are not telling me what they’re doing.” Joe said.

Just a couple years ago, Joe’s brother Nick Jonas got a dog for his birthday, an adorable pooch named Elvis!

Teen queen Miley Cyrus was the center of another batch of rumors this week, this time claiming that the 17-year-old actress/singer wanted to get breast implants. The rumors claimed that Miley wasn’t happened with her breast size, and wanted to get a boob job as soon as possible.

A source close to Miley has dished to Gossip Cop that the rumors are ‘silly’, and completely false.

Miley is currently in Detroit with Ashley Greene and Demi Moore filming her new movie LOL (Laughing out Loud).

Actor Zac Efron may make an appearance on the Discovery Channel show ‘Man vs. Wild’, after writing to the show saying how he’d be interested in doing an episode.

“Zac Efron wrote the other day that he’d love to do an episode together, so I’m quite keen to explore that one. We’ve literally just finished filming season five, so I’m kind of focusing on going home now, having a quick rest, and we’ll start filming the next stuff in September. We’ve got lots of people , it’s just whether it’s right for Discovery to do it or not.” says Bear Grylls from Man vs. Wild.

Zac currently has a movie out in theatres now called Charlie St. Cloud.
