As she prepared to take off on a flight, teen superstar Miley Cyrus was spotted toting around her adorable new puppy Floyd around the LAX Airport on Friday (July 15th). Dressed in a cool maxi dress, Miley was spotted going through security before flying out of Los Angeles.

Miley even tweeted to her fans about her new pet! “@MileyCyrusBz thank you I’m so in love with him it is ridiculous. His name is Floyd yfrog.com/kf9cljgj”

With both a new album and movie just released in the past month, Selena Gomez has been busy with her career. The star has been promoting her third studio album When the Sun Goes Down, as well as her movie Monte Carlo. In a recent interview with Deccan Chronicle, she chatted about her new music, as well as future plans including a spanish album!

On her album: There is a song called My Dilemma that is one of my favourites. It’s pop rock song, very similar to the stuff on my first record actually. It’s about loving someone — but you’re not really sure that person is the right one for you and you still can’t help but be attracted to that person. Then there is this song called Hit The Lights that I love, which is basically saying you can’t sit there and say, “I should have done this” or “I could have done that and if only I had, my life would have turned out differently”. It’s all about living in the moment and I love the fact that this song has a really powerful message.

On her band & creating music: My band is amazing and I love them. As for my songwriting process, it is very organic. I can’t really force anything and put it in my schedule to go into a studio and sit down and write songs from scratch. It happens at the most random times. I’ll write a lyric on the airplane… I tend to think a lot when I’m in the shower or shopping. I just pen down the lyrics and I put it all together with producers. So my song writing process is very easy and simple.

On Acting & Singing: When you perform with a band it’s different and when you perform solo its different. I feel both provide a sense of fulfillment in some way or the other. I want to do more films as I haven’t done a lot of films so far. However, I also want to grow more, musically. Right now, it’s hard to choose which I enjoy most, but I think when I get older and I want all this activity to slow down, I’ll probably seek out more acting opportunities.

What’s next for Selena: I’m very excited about my tour. And I’m working on a Spanish record.

Actress Vanessa Hudgens showed off her grubbier new look on Friday (July 15th) as she was in costume on the set of her new film Gimme Shelter in Los Angeles. Dressed in baggy clothes with a shorter hair style, Vanessa ate out of a dumpster for her scenes of the day.

Vanessa plays a homeless pregnant teenager in the movie, on the search for her biological father after running away from her abusive mother. Vanessa recently took to her official Facebook page to update fans on her role! “Hey guys, what’s happenin? I have been so stupidly busy working on Gimme Shelter. I’m so excited and proud of the work I’ve been doing and let me tell you, you all are going to be SHOCKED with how I look in this movie. It’s crazy sauce. Lol only one more week of shooting till I’m done! Xx V”

Actress Emily Osment recently chatted with TV Guide about her upcoming ABC Family movie Cyberbully, which premieres TONIGHT. The story revolves around Emily’s character who is the victim of online bullying.

Emily revealed that the role was a new experience, “The hardest thing was being on set every day and having to get into the state of mind where I was crying,” she says. “It was emotionally strenuous.”

“The biggest message in this film is that Taylor didn’t feel like she had anyone to talk to about it. She didn’t think anyone was going through the same type of pain that she was experiencing and it made it that much harder.”

“This is a very effective film and has a strong message, a message that we’re trying conduct in a different way,” she says. “There are a lot of teen help lines and anonymous websites you can go on, but this is the first time a movie has truly been made just about cyber-bullying. It’s going to be a shock for everyone and I think that’s a good thing. I hope it will make a difference.”

The duo did some shopping together, paying a visit to Prada to check out some new items. Emma looked pretty in a belted white button-up dress while Chord sported a leather jacket as he took a phone call after leaving the shops.

Actress Ashley Tisdale was spotted out in Vegas on Friday night (July 16th) as she and her friends celebrated Ashley’s 26th birthday at the Pure Night Club at Caesars Palace. Ashley posed for pictures in a little white dress, showing off her toned legs and newly blonde hair.

Ashley turned 26 on July 2nd, and spent her birthday weekend in Malibu with pals like Zac Efron on the beach.
