With just 6 days to go until the June 19th release of his new album Believe, teen heartthrob Justin Bieber sat down with Billboard Magazine to discuss what’sit has been like growing up in the public eye. Justin graces the cover of the newest issue of the magazine, which is available right now! You can grab your own copy here.

“We’re clearly seeing a more mature record this time around,” Mike Posner, the director of the album explained.

Not only is Justin growing up, but he has had to do so over the past few years under the public eye.

“No one in the history of the world has ever grown up with the pressure that he has, being a solo artist that young, that famous, in a world with technology that exposes us 24-7,” says Scooter Braun, Justin’s manager.

Even though he might lose his cool when it comes to paparazzi sometimes, the 18-year-old singer isn’t always opposed to technology around him.

“Your life is out there a lot more, especially nowadays when everybody has a HD camera phone on them at all times,” Bieber says. “But my whole career launched from the Internet, so without it, I feel like I wouldn’t even be here. I owe a lot of my success to social media, to Twitter, to YouTube and Facebook. It is also a great way to interact with fans.”
