Marvel’s latest superhero film The Amazing Spider-Man was released into theaters yesterday (July 3) to a highly successful opening. The movie brought in $35 million on it’s opening day, beating out the release of the very first Transformers film which was released the same day back in 2007 and brought in $27.9 million.

The movie, starring Andrew Garfiled and Emma Stone was also released in 3D to enhance all the fun action. In fact, around 300 Imax theaters nation-wide brought in $4 million yesterday from their showings of the film.

Emma recently opened up about working with Andrew, who is her love interest on-screen and in real life as well.

“I think that a lot of times when you meet a person for the first time you can have a spark and chemistry with them,” she said about connecting with co-stars. “Then you get to know them and you can either be proven right or wrong.”

The blonde beauty also admitted that shooting the action scenes weren’t too bad – even the ones where she was falling through the air. “It’s fun if there’s some type of harness. It’s like a roller-coaster,” she decided. “I’m fine on a roller coaster but once you put me in one of those things where they shoot you up and you free-fall, I don’t like that. I get really freaked out when it’s a free-fall.”

Will YOU go see The Amazing Spider-Man? We can’t wait to see it!
