Actress Leighton Meester joined her co-stars for a screening of The Oranges last night in New York City. The screening was hosted by The Cinema Society with The Hollywood Reporter & Samsung Galaxy S III, for the upcoming flick also starring Hugh Laurie.

Looking pretty in a little black dress, Leighton showed off some lose waves as she posed for pictures on the red carpet, before heading into the screening. The movie revolves around Leighton’s character Nina, who falls for her father’s best friend. If you haven’t already, be sure to check out the trailer right here!

In her newest movie On The Road, actress Kristen Stewart takes on a riskier role as she portrays rebellious Marylou. The movie, also starring Garrett Hedlund and Kristen Dunst shows Kristen in a role that’s a far cry from her previous role in the Twilight saga – the 22 year old even goes topless for a couple of scenes in the upcoming flick.

While premiering On the Road at the Toronto International Film Festival, Kristen spoke with MTV about her topless scene in the movie, admitting that showing some skin wasn’t a big deal for the star.

“It didn’t bother me,” she said. “You can do no wrong with . He puts so much inside of you. In the four-week rehearsal process, it was okay to ask any question, to bring up any story, to really overanalyze everything and intellectualize everything.”

“Once we got on set, it was so about just breathing and letting it happen. He put so much trust in us, so it was like, ‘OK, so I have to take my clothes off?’ It’s so not a big .” Kristen explained.

The star is thankful that she was able to shoot the movie when she did, as she signed on to star in the film when she was just 17 back in 2007. “I should have definitely been older than 17 while playing this part, absolutely,” she said. ” would have been done very differently if I was younger. I wouldn’t have played the part, obviously.”

Kristen also explained how she wanted to give the movie her all, as her character Marylou was a fearless spirit. “I don’t want this to be misconstrued in anyway, but you do want to get as close to an experience as you can, anything that feels guarded, in this particular movie especially, would just be so against the spirit of it.”

Looking cute and casual, actress Emma Watson was spotted out and about on Friday afternoon (September 14) as she and a friend did some shopping. Dressed in a white printed top and jeans, Emma and her pal were spotted checking out some jewelry from the street venders in the meatpacking district of New York.

Emma is currently gearing up for the release of her newest movie Perks of Being a Wallflower, where she plays the outgoing Sam. The movie is set to hit theatres on September 20th!

Former Disney star Miley Cyrus will soon be returning to the small screen, as she prepares for a guest appearance on the popular television comedy Two and a Half Men during it’s 10th season. Miley is scheduled to appear in two episodes so far, and could possibly return for more episodes later on in the season!

According to TV Line, Miley will appear on the show as Angus T. Jones‘ character Jake‘s love interest Missi.

“We were so excited to get Miley.” Shared executive producer Jim Patterson. “If it works out, it’s going to be great. She’s on for two episodes right now and if things turn out well and she has fun, we’d love to have her back… We think it’s going to be a great dynamic. She’ll play a romantic interest for Jake and he’s never really had that. This is going to be his first real relationship kind of thing. He’s no longer the half man on the show. He’s… in the Army, gonna have a girlfriend, experience love and heartbreak and all that kind of stuff.”

Will Miley be bringing her singing talents to the show as well?

“No, no plans for it right now.” says Patterson. “We didn’t want to do like, “Oh! It’s Hannah Montana!” We’re excited – and I think Miley’s excited, too – because it’s a completely different character for her… It’s an adult role for her, and it’s her first TV show since Hannah Montana. And as you said, she’s got a huge following. So we’re really excited at the possibilities of storylines that will happen with her.”

The executive producer also revealed how they managed to sign Miley on as a guest star for the upcoming season of the show. “We approached her. Ashton and she are friendly, and actually Angus appeared on her show two years ago, I think it was. I think Jon Cryer actually appeared on her show, as well. And her character on Hannah Montana was obsessed with Ashton… She kind of knew everyone a little bit.”
