Country singer Taylor Swift has continued to rake in the award nominations! The Red singer was just announced as a nominee for five awards at this year’s American Country Awards, along with several American Music Awards which Taylor has revealed over twitter she is very excited about.

“Thank you so much for the AMA nomination and for making I Knew You Were Trouble #1 on iTunes!!! That makes me so unbelievably happy.” Taylor wrote to fans.

Taylor is nominated for Artist of the Year, Artist of the Year: Female, Single of the Year: Female (for her song Ours), Touring Artist of the Year, and Music Video of the Year: Female (for Ours).

The ACMs will air on December 10th – good luck to Taylor!

With the great success of this summer’s The Amazing Spider-Man starring Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone, fans have been awaiting new details on what to expect with the next 2 films in the trilogy.

New reports have been released pointing at The Descendants star Shailene Woodley to take on a role in the next movie.

While it has been revealed that Electra is being considered as one of the movie’s villains, it has also been disclosed that the popular character Mary Jane Watson (previously played by Kirsten Dunst) will be making an appearance in the next film, with Shailene likely to fill her shoes.

As of right now, it is said that Shailene is the “leading choice” when it comes to casting Mary Jane.

It was just announced this morning that Shailene’s popular television series The Secret Life of the American Teenager, where she plays a teen mom, has been canceled by ABC Family after 5 seasons. Will this be Shailene’s next project?

Filming for the movie begins in early 2013.

Ever since she admitted that she has a little crush on One Direction‘s Niall Horan, singer Demi Lovato has been the subject of never-ending rumours that the pair are dating.

Earlier this week, it was reported that “Demi’s told the guys backstage she and Niall are loosely dating – it’s casual but they are definitely dating, albeit long-distance.”

Despite the speculation, Demi cleared up the gossip in the latest issue of Teen Vogue, where she stars on the cover.

“He’s a really awesome, sweet guy. But he’s not my boyfriend.” Demi explained.

This year, Demi has taken a break from dating in order to focus on her latest project – her new role as a judge on FOX’s singing competition The X Factor. Demi was offered a spot in the judges seat last spring, before teaming up with Simon Cowell, L.A Reid, and Britney Spears for auditions throughout the summer.

“It was a no-brainer! Right before I got the offer, I’d been sitting in a meeting feeling really discouraged called, literally, a week and a half later.”

Hunger Games beauty Jennifer Lawrence has just been announced as the newest face of Miss Dior!

According to sources, the actress will be the newest model for Miss Dior’s handbag collection, starring in print ads beginning in March 2013.

“It’s such a dream to represent an iconic brand that is synonymous with high fashion,” Jennifer said.

The star even revealed a bit about her own personal style. “It’s impossible to be in the industry without getting even the slightest introduction to fashion. I hate being overdressed so I normally find a way to ‘casualize’ anything too showy. If I have a red-carpet event, I definitely want a couple hours to get ready. But for my every day life, I’m normally ready in 15 minutes.”

19-year-old actress Miley Cyrus is currently prepping for the DVD release of her latest movie LOL in the UK, where she branches out as a rebellious teenager named Lola.

The movie, also starring Ashley Greene and Douglas Booth will be released on October 15th for fans to enjoy at home.

In a recent interview, Miley admitted to Sugarscape that she hopes the movie will let fans see her in a more mature light.

“I hope they see all of us in a new light,” Miley explained. “I hope they see me as someone who is maturing, not stepping away from my younger fans but maturing, and picking roles that I can really relate to.”

“I’m so excited to see Douglas come out as an American actor. I think he’s done so many amazing things for the BBC. One of my favourite movies is ‘Worried about the Boy’ about Boy George. He’s the lead and it’s unbelievable, so so happy to see him succeed. ” She continued, “I came from a franchise Hannah Montana and Ashley Greene came from Twilight so I’m happy for people to see her in a totally new way and she couldn’t be more opposite.”

Miley also chatted about her admiration for Demi Moore, who plays her mother in the movie. The star admitted, “without her I wouldn’t be on the set, without her I wouldn’t be who I am sitting here, I wouldn’t know a lot about myself. Demi is the main reason why I got involved.”

“This movie was kind of an indie film that was being talked about and I heard about it every now and then and Demi was like ‘This is something I want to do with Miley.’ I want to be a part of her life. I got to meet a lot of great people. I just want to thank Demi for taking that first step, really taking the initiative and saying let’s really put this together, let’s make this movie”

Gossip Girl beauty Blake Lively stunned in a silver dress last night (October 9) as she attended the Chanel Fine Jewelry’s 80th anniversary of the “Bijoux De Diamants” collection in New York.

The newly married actress was all smiles as she posed for cameras, hiding her wedding ring by slipping her hands in her pockets.

“Life is great!” Blake shared with Us Magazine at the event. “I was so excited to be driving over here in the car in this beautiful outfit. It’s like a Disney princess dress!”

“The dress is actually made of jewelry” she added.

Blake has been busy the past few week in New York, where she is currently filming the final season of Gossip Girl. The 6th season premiered this past Monday, and is promising fans some big surprises in the last year.

“Can you believe it?” Blake said on the ending of the show. “And they actually don’t tell us what happens. But they do reveal who Gossip Girl is — I will say that much.”

It has just been revealed by Deadline that the popular ABC Family series The Secret Life of the American Teenager has been cancelled. The show, starring Shailene Woodley and Darren Kagasoff premiered to a great reception back in 2008.

The show is currently in it’s fifth season, and will air it’s final 12 episodes in March. Executives decided to give the show the boot after feeling it has run it’s course. Jane By Design is the other ABC Family show that has been cancelled.
