Actress Elizabeth Olsen made an appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers on Tuesday (May 3), where she dished about her character the Scarlet Witch in the newest Marvel movie Captain America: Civil War.
When discussing her character, Elizabeth revealed that director Joss Whedon assured her that she wouldn’t be dressed the same as the Scarlet Witch in the Marvel comics, who is typically decked out in a skin-tight bodysuit and cape while fighting.
When talking about the look, Elizabeth said: “I did ballet growing up, but that’s not a confident look.”
While the Scarlet Witch may not have the same physical power as the other superheroes, the actress revealed that she did work out her hands to prepare for the hand movements she would have to perform during filming:
“I actually do finger exercises, because I try and figure out how to isolate fingers, and I’m not very good with my left hand so we always try and feature the right…I love a twitch, I always think that’s creepy.”
You can catch Elizabeth in Captain America: Civil War when it hits theatres this Friday, May 6th!
