Victoria Justice Dishes on the ‘Rocky Horror Picture Show’ in NKD Magazine

Actress Victoria Justice graces the new cover of NKD Magazine‘s October 2016 issue, where she dishes on The Rocky Horror Picture Show, along with transitioning away from Nickelodeon, and where her career is heading.

“I’m so proud of the way it turned out. We all are,” Victoria said on The Rocky Horror Picture Show, which will premiere on FOX on October 20th.

Victoria Justice

On sharing a clip of her performance of the “sexy, provocative song” “Touch-A Touch-A Touch-A Touch Me” from the film:

“Many of my fans are international, so I don’t think a lot of them understood it exactly. But quite a few of them just weren’t used to seeing me in a role like that. It was hard for them to wrap their brain around it.”

Victoria Justice

On Branching Out from Nickelodeon:

“Some people think once you’re a Nickelodeon actor that you can’t do anything else. I don’t think they realize that being on Nickelodeon or Disney is a style of acting and that doesn’t mean it’s the only thing you can do.”

Victoria Justice

On her MTV series Eye Candy:

“A female computer hacker that was also a vigilante I was in. It was the perfect next vehicle for me after Nickelodeon. My audience was growing up with me and we were all ready for me to be seen in more mature roles.”

Victoria Justice

On Eye Candy‘s Cancellation after its first season:

“A show’s premiere is so important to a show being successful. I got a phone call from MTV the very next day and they were so apologetic and supportive of me and the show. They believed in us and were going to continue to promote it.”

“[When it was cancelled] I took it in stride, though, because I’ve been doing this a long time and it’s just the nature of the business. I didn’t take it personally. In fact, I was sincerely happy that it happened in the first place.”

Victoria Justice

On collaborating with Kurt Schneider and Max Schneider on cover songs for YouTube:

“I love being a part of anything interesting, fun and different, and that’s what I get when I collaborate with Kurt and Max, who are both so talented.

Victoria Justice

On the Future:

“I’m not sure where this road will lead, so I’m playing this one by ear. We’ll have to see where it goes.”
