Looks like The Carrie Diaries is about to get a whole lot juicier!

It was just announced that the show’s producer Amy B. Harris has made big plans for the upcoming second season of the CW show, which is a spin-off of the hit series Sex and the City.

Starring AnnaSophia Robb as a young Carrie Bradshaw, the show follows the teen through her high school struggles as she tries her best to find her place in the busy city of New York.

In the upcoming season, the younger version of Samantha Jones will appear, giving fans an inside look at how the two pals first met. The role, originally played by Kim Cattrall has yet to be cast.

Another character from the original show was referenced in the season finale, as Stanford Blatch, Carrie’s gay best friend, was said to be Bennett’s roommate.

“I know exactly how I would like to introduce each of the characters into the show, and he’s not going to be the only one, that’s for sure,” producer Amy B. Harris said. “I know what I want season two to look like and who I think is showing up, but I always thought that Bennett and Stanford were probably roommates and that’s how Carrie ends up meeting Stanford.”

While many were rooting for 16-year-old Disney star Zendaya Coleman to take home the Mirror Ball Trophy during this week’s finale of Dancing with the Stars, the young actress finished the competition in second place, while singer Kellie Pickler won the latest season.

During an interview with MTV, Zendaya revealed that she’s not upset that she didn’t win. Instead, the star is more concerned about her fans and partner Val Chmerkovskiy after she elbowed him in the head during rehearsals, causing him to get 14 stitches.

“I was happy that I made it that far and I think that’s the most important thing to take with me,” Zendaya admitted. “I was more worried about my partner. Obviously, he had stitches. He’s all banged up and all the fans at home that are crying their eyeballs out. All my little fans are so sad. Parents are tweeting me, talking about ‘My daughter’s is crying she doesn’t want to go to school because she’s upset you didn’t win.’ ”

While Zendaya may have been the youngest contestant to have ever competed on the show, she did have an amazing time during the season, and became close with the other contestants despite the fact that they were competing against each other.

“When it comes to other contestants, everyone does get really close. You really feel for each other because you know what you’re going through,” she said. “It’s not like a competition where people hate each other; we are all in it together.”

In fact, Zendaya revealed that NFL player Jacoby Jones was quite the prankster behind the scenes, and also liked to do some friendly trash talking towards the other contestants.

“He can get away with it because he’s so funny,” Zendaya said, even though he never trashed her, “Not me in particular, I’m a little girl, no one wants to beat up on me, that’s messed up.”

Showing off her sexy side last night (May 23), actress Lea Michele showed off some skin in a little black dress as she attended the Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution’s 2013 LA Screenings Lot Party at the FOX Studio Lot in LA.

Wearing a black Roberto Cavalli dress with a plunging neckline and side leg slits, Lea looked fierce as she posed for pictures with FOX chairman Dana Walden inside the event.

Lea recently received some exciting news, as she landed her first book deal for her upcoming book Brunette Ambition. “So excited to FINALLY get to share my exciting news with you all!!! #BRUNETTEAMBITION” Lea tweeted as soon as the news broke that she had signed with publishers to release the novel in 2014.

The Glee star had also hit the red carpet once more this week, as she went for a more girly look at the Aqua Star Pool Party in Beverly Hills this Wednesday.

While doing some press in London, England this week, singer/actress Selena Gomez stopped by The Radio 1 Breakfast Show to discuss her movie career.

Selena’s latest role was in this year’s Spring Breakers, where four teen girls rob a restaurant to go on spring break and end up in a world of drinking, drugs, and more. The controversial role showed the more mature side of Selena, and was a big step away from her Disney days.

“Acting has always been my priority and if I am not pushing myself I’m not growing,” Selena explained on her choice to star in the film. “I was aching for something that would be creative and artsy.”

“You know really different for me. I wish all my movies were like that.” she continued. “I get that it’s started a little bit of controversy which is understandable but at the end of a day it’s a character.”

“The bigger you get the more people are going to try and bring you down,” she said. “I’m just trying to do what makes me happy.”

While in London this week, Selena has been feeling under the weather, forcing her to cancel her scheduled appearances on Wednesday. Posting a new photo on her Twitter today of herself taking a nap, Sel revealed that she is still exhausted.

“Jet lagged and a bit chilly… #londoniloveyou” she wrote with the picture.

Hopefully Selena is feeling better!

Enjoying the sunny weather on Thursday, actress Ashley Tisdale headed out for a leisurely stroll with her boyfriend Christopher French.

Looking casual in some blue sweatpants, red sunglasses, and a grey snood, Ashley and Chris paid a visit to their local Trader Joe’s store in Toluca Lake to pick up some food. While making the walk back from the store, Ashley sipped on some Starbucks coffee before pulling the snood up around her head to hide from the photographers.

Ashley’s animated Disney show Phineas and Ferb was recently announced as a nominee for this years Critics Choice Television Awards, and is up for the Best Animated Series award during the June 10th ceremony.

Chris tweeted his congratulations to his girlfriend on the nomination, writing: “Congratulations to my girl @ashleytisdale & the rest of the Phineas&Ferb crew on their @CriticsChoice nomination. So proud x”

Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards sure has some killer dance moves!

In a new video, Perrie and a friend perform a dance routine to the Salt-N-Pepa song Push It from the movie Something Borrowed. The original scene from the 2011 movie shows Kate Hudson and Giniffer Goodwin dancing in-synch to the catchy tune (watch it here).

Perrie isn’t the only one who loves to dance for the camera! Just last year, Perrie’s boyfriend Zayn Malik posted a video of him and his pals busting a move to the Usher song That’s What It’s Made For. If you haven’t seen it yet, you can watch it here.

Pretty Little Liar beauty Ashley Benson was on-hand yesterday (May 22) for the launch of 7-Eleven’s Awesummer Summer Slurpee Days in LA, where she checked out some cool slurpee treats that are perfect for summer.

During the event, Ashley spoke with Huffington Post, where she revealed her summer must-haves, along with her dating deal-breaker, and Pretty Little Liars.

Have you always been a Slurpee enthusiast? Yeah, I’ve been having Slurpees since I was really young. My dad gets his coffee at 7-Eleven, so I’ve always been getting Slurpees. My friends like them as well, and they’re a good drink for the summer.

What’s your gulity pleasure? Ice cream.

What’s one item that’s always in your refrigerator? Ice cream. You can always find bottles of water, almond milk and ice cream.

How do you stay in shape and keep up that “Spring Breakers” body? I’m trying to get in shape at the moment, so I guess just having a trainer, trying to eat healthier, SoulCycle, maybe some yoga — even though I haven’t done it before, I’m going to try it.

What’s your summer beauty staple? A great moisturizer. Chanel has this amazing luminiscent foundation that makes your skin really glowy — it’s really cool for summer. I love long skirts, Slurpees, the Slurpee Lite Sugar Free Sprite flavor. It’s only 20 calories, there’s no sugar — great for that bikini body. That’s a good summer must-have.

What are you most looking forward to this summer? Being tan. I’m going to Europe, so I’m looking forward to that.

Actor/Singer Nick Jonas has been hard at work on a new movie, which is set to be his big debut onto the big screen. Nick stars opposite Isabel Lucas in the new “edgy thriller” Careful What You Wish For, directed by the Vampire Diaries‘ Elizabeth Allen.

Nick has tweeted throughout the filming process in Charlotte, North Carolina, about the fun he’s been having shooting the movie. Just on Saturday, the 20-year-old wrote: “Great week of filming… Hard to believe we’re almost done. Enjoying the weekend.”

Now, the stars are finishing up wrapping the film with today being the final day of filming.

“Last day of filming @CWYWF today. Crazy how quickly it’s gone by.” Nick wrote on his Twitter.

In the movie: “Doug (Jonas) gets more than he bargained for when he starts having an affair with Lena (Lucas), the young wife of an investment banker renting the lake house next door for the summer. The husband’s suspicious death reveals a substantial life insurance policy.”

Afterwards, Nick is set to embark on a summer tour with his the Jonas Brothers, as they promote their newest single Pom Poms along with their upcoming new album.
