Camp Rock stars Demi Lovato and The Jonas Brothers joined forces on Friday afternoon (August 27th) while attending the 2010 Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day in New York City. Demi and the brothers posed together for pictures on the red carpet, before performing together inside.

Camp Rock 2 star Demi Lovato celebrated her 18th birthday yesterday, and got an amazing gift from her 8-year-old sister Madison De La Garza.

“She bought me an iPhone 4 with her own money!” Demi dished on her sister, who stars on ABC’s hit show Desperate Housewives.

Madison also had nothing but good words to describe her sister. “Demi is the best sister in the whole world,” she said. “She is just so nice and gives me advice. She’s an amazing sister and I couldn’t have a better one!”

Also for her birthday, Demi bought her family a new home!

While at the premiere for Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam earlier this week, birthday girl Demi Lovato dished on her gift she just gave her family – a new house!

“I just bought a house,” Demi dished. “For me to give to my family on my birthday, that was the best present.”

Demi’s not ready to move away from her family just yet – she’ll be living in a small house in the backyard of the new home. “It’s got pretty much everything you could possibly imagine in it,” she says. “It’s the most beautiful, homey-feeling house. I love it.”

Demi also gushed about another cool part of the new place. “The pool has a water slide, which is really cool,”

After publicly dating Joe Jonas a couple months ago, Camp Rock star Demi Lovato has admitted that dating in the public eye isn’t so easy.

“I learned my lesson,” says Demi. It’s not very much fun when you break up in a public relationship. So, maybe next time keep a secret.”

Demi did insist that despite multiple rumors, Joe is not a heartbreaker. “I know that he has the best intentions,” she says. “Definitely most guys don’t have the same intentions that he does.”

Keeping their relationship from the public was hard for Demi, “You want to say to your fans, ‘Guess what, I’m so in love with somebody.’ You want to shout it from the rooftops. That’s what you do when you fall in love,” she says. “At the same time, I learned my lesson. You know, I’ll go public when I marry someone one day.”

“No new romances. I’m perfectly happy with being single. I feel like also if I was going to have a new romance, I’d keep it private,”

Today is also Demi’s 18th birthday! Happy birthday Demi!

Camp Rock 2 sweetie Demi Lovato celebrates her big 18th birthday today (August 20th)! Demi had a party with her closest friends and family last night to celebrate, and tweeted to her fans first thing this morning.

“Officially 18. Weird.” Demi said. “I could not be any happier. I really couldn’t. Good morning tweethearts… Thank you for everything. YOU are my life.”

While visiting Fox & Friends on Wednesday (August 18th) to promote Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam, teen icon Demi Lovato chatted about her co-stars The Jonas Brothers, including her ex-boyfriend Joe Jonas.

“Well… we started off as best friends and then we took it to the next level and it didn’t work out,” Demi explained. “It wasn’t meant to be but we’re back to being best friends.”
