The very first promo for the highly anticipated second season of Glee has just released! The short clip shows some brief scenes from upcoming episodes, as well as the cast singing Empire Stat of Mind pt. 2 by Jay-Z and Alicia Keys.

The season premiere is September 21st on FOX at 8/7 central. Can’t wait!

Glee star Lea Michele looks sexy in stripes on the new cover for the October issue of Glamour Magazine.

Lea also chatted about her co-stars over at Glee, telling Glamour about her relationship with the cast. “They are my family, honestly. I don’t have family in L.A. If I didn’t have them…I love my cast.” Lea shares. Who surprised her the most? “Amber Riley. We’re both big personalities, and you definitely would think we’d bump heads. But she has taught me more about myself than anyone. She inspires me, she protects me, she makes me laugh, she tells me not to take myself so seriously. She’s my Mama Amber.”

Glee beauty Lea Michele opened up to People about some kittens she recently rescued on the set of Glee.

One day on set at the Paramount studios, Lea found six stray kittens and took it upon herself to find them a safe home. “They probably would have been eaten, so I rescued them,” Lea said.

Lea gave three of the kittens to one of the show’s directors, while co-star Heather Morris took a kitten named Zach, and Lea kept the other two kittens (named Claude and Sheila).

During a cast photoshoot on the beach, Lea also saw a homeless dog and rescued the pooch as well. “I made the people at Glee send the dog to the vet, and we had him cleaned up,”. The dog now lives with her co-star Harry Shum Jr.

“I’m a really big animal lover,” Lea said. “My mother always said, ‘Stand for something, or fall for everything.’ I feel like don’t have a voice.”

Glee goddess Lea Michele showed off her glamorous side last night (August 29th) on the red carpet of the 2010 Primetime Emmy Awards, where her hit FOX television series had been nominated. Dressed in a dark ruffled dress, Lea strutted her stuff on the red carpet alongside her other Glee stars.

The stars of the much loved show Glee were spotted having some fun on set today (August 20th) while on a break from shooting. Mark Salling was seen going for a ride on his skateboard, while Lea Michele looked lovely on her bicycle. Dianna Agron and Jenna Ushkowitz were also seen around set, chatting together as they had a quick snack.

Glee returns with all new episodes at the beginning of September! Can’t wait!

Glee star Lea Michele recently chatted with Seventeen Magazine about when she was 17. Check out her interview below!

Where did you grow up? Tenafly, NJ and NYC.

Where you a good student? Did you like school? I’d like to think so. Sometimes.

What type of jobs did you work? When I wasn’t working on Broadway, I worked in a Bat Mitzvah dress shop and was the Cinderella of the shop — always cleaning and vacuuming!

What was the worst popular trend when you were going to school? Trucker hats.

What did you want to be when you grew up? I knew what I wanted to be at 8 years old — an actor!

What is the craziest thing you ever did to get a guy to notice you? Nothing. I actually had a great boyfriend in high school.

What was your style when you were 17? Now? Lots of Juicy Couture. Now, no Juicy Couture.

What kind of clique were you in back then? Now? The least cool of the cool kids, but actually I was friends with everyone. Now, I’m in a glee club!

What were your hobbies back then? Now? Being Shprintze in Fiddler on the Roof. Now I love cooking and baking.

Who was your best friend? Is she still your best friend now? Danielle Press. She is still one of my closest friends, but my best friend is Jonathan Groff.

What did you do for fun then? Now? Go to the mall. Now I collect records and love to go hiking at Runyon Canyon in L.A.

What kind of advice did your parents give you when you were 17? Now? To be myself and be happy. Now, the same advice.

What did you worry about back then? Now? I worried that people wouldn’t like me. Now I try not to worry and focus on being happy.

Who was your idol back then? Now? My mom! Now, still my mom.

What advice would you give your 17-year-old self? I would tell 17-year-olds to be proud of who you are. Don’t try to change yourself for others. Focus on school and your future. Boys and friends will come and go, just focus on you and your future.

Glee beauty Lea Michele was spotted at the BlackBerry Torch From AT&T Launch Party in Hollywood on Wednesday night (August 11th). Dressed in a loose white top and silver floral skirt, Lea posed on the red carpet with friend Christina Ricci before checking out Blackberry’s newest phone.

Lea has been hard at work on Los Angeles on the set of Glee, where she and the cast have been filming episodes for the upcoming second season. The cast is also expected to do a big Britney Spears episode this fall as well! Can’t wait.
