Sisters Dakota Fanning and Elle Fanning made a splash last night on the red carpet of the 2013 MET Gala in New York. Posing with Kate Mulleavy and Laura Mulleavy on the red carpet, the sisters showed off their cool Rodarte gowns for the Punk: Chaos to Couture theme of the night.

Dakota looked pretty in a black gown with angel wing embellishments on the back and sheer cut-outs on the side, while younger sister Elle went for a more bold look in a colourful gown and matching eye makeup.

Last night was a star-filled night as celebrities stepped out for The Ninth Annual CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards in New York City. Stylish stars Emma Stone, Ashley Greene, and Dakota Fanning joined the list of stars as they stepped out to celebrate the fashion industry and its designers.

Emma looked pretty as she stepped out in a stunning Burberry peplum dress, while Ashley opted for a sexy black lace outfit. Dakota also looked pretty in a pink dress, showing off her new dark hair.

Ashley and Dakota had a fun-filled night the day before as well, where they attended the premiere of their new movie Breaking Dawn: Part 2. This film is the final instalment from the Twilight Saga, and will be hitting theatres on November 16th.

Young actress Dakota Fanning looks pretty in pink as she graces the February 2012 issue of Cosmopolitan Magazine. The 17-year-old is currently gearing up for her 18th birthday next month despite the fact that she sometimes forgets she’s still a teenager.

“I feel like I’ve lived a long time, but then I realize, ‘Oh, I’m actually only 17.’” Dakota shared in a recent interview.

The Twilight beauty has revealed that she isn’t looking for any fame along with her acting career, which she has been doing since the age of 6. “I just want to be an actress. I don’t really do anything attention-grabbing. Famous just sounds so pretentious. Who am I to call myself that word?”

Stunning sisters Dakota Fanning and Elle Fanning posed for this new shot from VOGUE‘s annual age issue, where they represent the teenage dreams.

“I’ve been working since I was six, Elle since two,” Dakota says. “What you grow up with is what you become used to.”

Is it weird growing up in the spotlight without a normal teen life? “When you choose to do this with your life, you’re in the public and people watch you,” she said. “But I’d rather do this than not.”

Eclipse actress Dakota Fanning has just signed on with the popular modelling agency called IMG Models. The IMG agency represents many famous models such as Heidi Klum and Naomi Campbell.

Just as the news has come that Dakota has joined IMG Models, news that another teen actress Taylor Momsen has dropped her contract with the agency, despite being represented by them since she was 14.
