As he prepares to embark on a world tour to promote The Hunger Games movie, actor Josh Hutcherson stopped by Elle magazine to do a photoshoot, while talking a bit about his romantic side.

Josh also talked about his role as Peeta in the Hunger Games series saying, “I read all three books in five days. I’ve never read a character I’ve connected with more—I am Peeta.”

Director Gary Ross also revealed that he believed Josh would be the perfect person to play Peeta as soon as he auditioned. “He’s so unbelievably charming,” he said. “When he auditioned, Suzanne and I looked at each other. We’d both been knocked out.”

As for his personal life, Josh admitted that he is a romantic when it comes to dating. “I’m a big romantic, traditional cheesy guy.” He said. “I’m all about going to the beach under the stars. That’s like a real date. Other than that, just dinner and a movie. That’s classy.”

The Hunger Games will be released into theaters on March 23rd!

As fans have been patiently awaiting the release of The Hunger Games before its release in March, a new picture from the film has finally been released!

Entertainment Weekly revealed this new photo of Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) and Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) as they prepare for the opening ceremonies.

The pair are seen in their coal-black costumes before they are set on fire as they ride into the arena in the horse-drawn carriage together. Looks amazing!

Actress Vanessa Hudgens has been starting up some press work for her newest movie Journey 2:The Mysterious Island lately, taking her all the way to Australia!

After making an appearance at the People’s Choice Awards on Wednesday, Vanessa hopped on a plane with her co-star Josh Hutcherson to fly out to Australia where they will begin promoting the new Journey movie, which hits theaters on February 10th.

After touching down, Vanessa and Josh headed out to the Melbourne Aquarium where they had some fun with the penguins. Vanessa shared a picture of her and Josh at the aquarium on her website saying “Too much fun with Hutch and the gang at the Melbourne aquarium yesterday ”

She also posted a picture with some penguins! “Awww loved these lil guys! My first day in Australia! The Melbourne Aquarium was amazzzzzing ”

As fans eagerly await the release of The Hunger Games movie, actor Josh Hutcherson has already built a large fan base thanks to his character as Peeta Mellark. While doing some recent press interview, Josh answered some questions that fans have been dying to know – including how to win him over!

“For me it’s all about being true to yourself and being real.” Josh revealed. “I think if a girl tries to be something she’s not to try to make you think otherwise of her, then that’s just unattractive. I’d much rather be with somebody that’s naturally who they are.”

Josh also said that he can be a little shy when he first meets someone! “If I’m meeting somebody for the first time, I can be a little shy at first but then when I know that I feel something about somebody, I’m all about talking about it. That’s one of the most important things — being up front and forthcoming”

As for his who his fans want him to date, Josh admitted that he isn’t exactly prepared for the new pressure of fans wanting him to date his on-screen love interest Jennifer Lawrence. “I don’t know how you can be prepared for that kind of thing. People are always going to infer and draw their opinions. I’m ready for people’s opinions, that’s for sure.”

And finally – what is Josh’s biggest fear? Spiders!

“I don’t like spiders. Not to be cliche, I’m not afraid of much … I pride myself on that, but spiders I just don’t like. I feel like even if I’m three feet away I’m afraid they’re somehow going to get to me really quickly … and then they’re going to attack me, crawl in my nose. I’m terrified of it.”

Looks like props aren’t only good for on-screen shots!

Actor Josh Hutcherson used a prop from his new movie The Hunger Games to prank his co-star Jennifer Lawrence by giving her a good scare. Josh dished about his prank in his latest interview with MTV where he and his co-stars answered fan questions.

Here’s how Josh’s prank went down: “They had a full life-sized dummy of one of our tributes that had gotten killed by a Tracker Jacker, and basically it’s all swollen and gnarly-looking and mangled, and Jennifer was out of her trailer so I took the dummy and put it inside her bathroom in her trailer.” Josh explained. “I wasn’t there for the big moment when she saw it, which I can’t believe I missed, but I’ve been told that she actually peed her pants in reaction to it. So, I was pretty proud of myself and amazed that someone actually peed their pants in fear, because I didn’t know that happened.”

Jennifer even dished on how the prank went down on her end! “Pranks. Oh yeah, Josh, he took the dummy from one of the tributes that dies from the Tracker Jackers’ sting that is completely deformed and put it on my toilet, shut the door and holding a toilet paper roll, just for added effect. I’m in my trailer and open the bathroom door and scream and my friend grabs me and had to say “It’s fake, it’s fake, it’s fake!” I hate him. I still haven’t gotten him back for that, actually. I don’t know what to do to get him back for something like that. I’d have to find a real dead body.”

Josh wasn’t the only one playing jokes on set – Liam Hemsworth also shared how Jennifer got her laughs! “Jennifer would often try and make you laugh just before “Action.” She’d say something funny. She’d get you and really surprise you, though, because you’d be rolling up, ready for them to say “Action,” and she’d ask you some silly question about something. You’d hear it and be like, “Wait, what?” And then “Action” and you’d be like “OK. Thanks for that.” It’s funny to her, I guess.”

The highly anticipated movie The Hunger Games will be making its way into theaters in March 2012, and now the official motion poster for the film has been released! The film stars Jennifer Lawrence, along with Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth.

The film is not the only one in the series, Lionsgate is said to have plans to produce two sequals Mockingjay and Catching Fire!
