Kristen Stewart has a busy summer ahead of her!

The Twilight actress has landed the lead role in two new movies, Camp X-Ray and Sils Maria, which will both be filmed during this summer.

Camp X-Ray is a politically charged drama, according to Deadline.

“Stewart will play a young soldier who escapes her suffocating small town by joining the military, only to find that she isn’t going for a tour of duty in Iraq as she hoped. Instead, she’s sent to Guantanamo. Met with hatred and abuse from the Muslim men in her charge, she forges an odd friendship with a young man who has been imprisoned at Gitmo for eight years.”

Kristen will also be starring in Sils Maria, a new film directed by Olivier Assayas. Kristen will be starring alongside Juliette Binoche and Chloe Moretz, and will shoot in Europe.

“The film explores middle age and that introspective period where one questions how they’ve spent their life so far and what they’ve accomplished. The title refers to the Swiss setting, and Stewart plays the assistant to Binoche’s character, an actress who becomes obsessed with a young actress (Moretz) playing the role that made the older actress famous when she was young.”

After Twilight stars Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson called it quits recently, the 23-year-old actress has been spotted spending lots of time with pals around Los Angeles.

Popsugar spotted Kristen having dinner with friends last night (May 20) in Los Angeles, where she seemed to be in a good mood as she chatted with her buds. Afterwards, Kristen and a friend headed over to hang out with Taylor Swift at her Beverly Hills home according to US Weekly.

An insider revealed that Kristen “spent all day” at Taylor’s before heading home later on.

In the meantime, Robert was spotted out with pals in Hollywood last night at the Roosevelt Hotel. An onlooker spilled to People that Robert was “all smiles” and seemed to be in high spirits as he relaxed at a table chatting with friends.

“He sat on the couch at his table and sipped on multiple vodka cocktails throughout the evening” says the source. “You’d never know he had just gone through a breakup. He was smiling the entire night and was in a really good mood. There wasn’t a trace of sadness on his face.”

“He spent most of the night chatting with a brunette. There was a definitely some flirting going on but it was all just talking, there was nothing physical going on between them and they never touched each other.”

After reports surfaced yesterday that Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson have broken up, E! News has reported that the pair are still living together for the sake of their dogs.

According to sources, Kristen is “heartbroken” and “so sad” over the break up.

“They are going to stay living at Kristen’s house because of the dogs,” the source revealed. “It’s not fully over or he would have moved out.”

Although the on-and-off again couple have been together for the past three years, the source believes that the two will work it out.

“They will be back together in no time,” they said.

Twilight couple Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson have decided to end their relationship according to People, however, the split may be only temporary.

According to People, a source told the magazine that the pair have split after dating three years, however they would not be surprised if they decided to get back together, as they have done in the past after breaking up.

Robert reportedly did not attend his 27th birthday party earlier this week arranged by Kristen, although the pair were spotted together just a week earlier in New York after Kristen attended the MET Gala on May 6th.

The pair met while filming the first Twilight movie 2008, and filmed three more movies together for the series. The final film in the saga, Breaking Dawn Part 2 was released this past fall.

Vogue UK has reported that actress Kristen Stewart has officially been signed on to star in another campaign for Balenciaga, for their Florabotanica Fragrance.

Kristen, who starred in the fragrance’s campaign this year has reportedly already shot the new campaign, which will be released this fall.

Since signing on with the brand, Kristen has also been spotted several times on the red carpet sporting the brand’s clothing.

She may stick to more comfy tom-boy clothes by day, but actress Kristen Stewart sure knows how to bring the glam when it’s time to hit the red carpet. The Twilight superstar ranked number one on Glamour Magazine’s Best Dressed Women of 2013, a list that was put together based on a poll allowing the public to vote for their favourite women.

Coming in close second to Kristen was British beauty Emma Watson, followed by Kate Middleton, Emma Stone, and Taylor Swift.

As she continues to promote her new film On the Road, actress Kristen Stewart has opened up about filming the movie, including her nude scene.

“I do hate also when people go, ‘Oh, wow, great performance. So brave,’ ” Kristen said in a recent interview. “Oh, because I’m naked? That’s very annoying. But at the same time, if that’s what they’re focusing on, then On the Road probably isn’t for them anyway.”

Before taking on the role, Kristen read the original 1957 novel and was determined to capture the essence of her character completely.

“This book celebrates being alive and it celebrates being human, and if you want to cover up and deny any aspect of that, you are denying the spirit of the book,” She explained.

“I need to be so rocked by something, so moved by something that the idea of letting it down or ruining it is painful, and that’s what gets you through the shoot,” she said. “If you start also considering what people are going to think, you’ll never make a movie.”

The star has also signed on the star in a new comedy movie titled Focus alongside Ben Affleck, which will begin filming in April 2013.

Moving on from the Twilight saga, actress Kristen Stewart has confirmed that she will be starring in a new comedy movie titled Focus alongside actor Ben Affleck.

While promoting her newest project On the Road, Kristen talked about the upcoming project to Huffington Post.

“I can confirm that rumor,” she said, referring to the rumours about the film. “It’s a comedy. I’m really excited about it. We start shooting in April.”

Ben Affleck is also said to have hoped Kristen would sign on to the movie, because he thinks she is “terrific”.

Kristen doesn’t have any other new projects lined up for the moment, although she did admit she “would love to find some micro-project before then, because April is kind of a ways away.”

In her newest movie On The Road, actress Kristen Stewart takes on a riskier role as she portrays rebellious Marylou. The movie, also starring Garrett Hedlund and Kristen Dunst shows Kristen in a role that’s a far cry from her previous role in the Twilight saga – the 22 year old even goes topless for a couple of scenes in the upcoming flick.

While premiering On the Road at the Toronto International Film Festival, Kristen spoke with MTV about her topless scene in the movie, admitting that showing some skin wasn’t a big deal for the star.

“It didn’t bother me,” she said. “You can do no wrong with . He puts so much inside of you. In the four-week rehearsal process, it was okay to ask any question, to bring up any story, to really overanalyze everything and intellectualize everything.”

“Once we got on set, it was so about just breathing and letting it happen. He put so much trust in us, so it was like, ‘OK, so I have to take my clothes off?’ It’s so not a big .” Kristen explained.

The star is thankful that she was able to shoot the movie when she did, as she signed on to star in the film when she was just 17 back in 2007. “I should have definitely been older than 17 while playing this part, absolutely,” she said. ” would have been done very differently if I was younger. I wouldn’t have played the part, obviously.”

Kristen also explained how she wanted to give the movie her all, as her character Marylou was a fearless spirit. “I don’t want this to be misconstrued in anyway, but you do want to get as close to an experience as you can, anything that feels guarded, in this particular movie especially, would just be so against the spirit of it.”

After news broke on July 24th that Kristen Stewart cheated on her boyfriend of nearly 5 years Robert Pattinson, rumours have been thrown around the net on whether or not the two will work things out.

Kristen published an official apology, where she admitted that she is ‘deeply sorry’ and she ‘loves him’.

Word spread that a moving van was spotted outside of the LA home the two stars share together, but now US Weekly has claimed that Robert has not moved out, but instead found shelter elsewhere.

The magazine has reported that Robert’s Water for Elephants co-star Reese Witherspoon has graciously allowed Robert to stay at her 7-million-dollar ranch in Ojai, California.

A source told the magazine that Robert is “a total mess . . . He’s questioning everything.”
