Posted on 1 min read 80 views

Check out this new sneak peek at what’s to come in the second season of Freeform’s Shadowhunters!

In the new season, The Clave and its shadowhunters will prepare to go to war against Valentine and his army (including Jace), who now have their hands on the Mortal Cup.

To try and overcome Valentine, all of the different downworlder leaders will come together to form some unlikely alliances:

“With Valentine out there creating a threat for everybody and the way The Clave is responding to it, puts a lot of pressure on this uneasily alliance between the different groups,” showrunner Todd Slavkin said. “Later in the first ten we’re going to see things become a little more tense between them.”

Season 2 of Shadowhunters will premiere January 2nd, 2017 at 8pm/7c on Freeform.
