While making appearances at the ShoWest awards, actress Vanessa Hudgens got a chance to chat with MTV about her upcoming action movie Sucker Punch.
“I have a movie called ‘Sucker Punch’ coming out in 2011 that Zack Snyder directed, and I’m very excited about it because I finally get to be an extreme badass and kick butt,” Vanessa said. V’s character in the movie Blondie gets to do lots of action in the movie, which may even be in 3D! “I think it might be [coming out in 3-D] … actually, we didn’t shoot it for 3-D,” she said. “And I just found out the other day. I’m just excited to know that when I throw my tomahawk, it’s going right in your face.”
Vanessa also got to use guns while shooting the movie, which she loved. “There were so many [scenes that I love], I get to shoot a .50-cal gun, which is a gun that’s on the back of a tank that’s in the Army. It’s intense. It’s just the most thrilling thing a person can ever do is shoot that gun.”
Vanessa’s latest project Beastly will be released later this year, while Bandslam was just released onto DVD!
Superstar bros The Jonas Brothers held a live chat Thursday afternoon (March 18th), where they got to joke around and have fun with fans. Nick Jonas and Kevin Jonas kicked off the chat, talking about their hit show JONAS, as well as Camp Rock 2, and their upcoming projects as a group.
Later on, Joe Jonas joined the bros to continue to interact with their fans.
Good pals Dakota Fanning and Kristen Stewart both strutted their stuff in some sexy and sassy mini dresses last night (March 18th) at the premiere of The Runaways during the 2010 SXSW Festival in Austin, Texas. Kristen glammed up her look with some stunning red lips and a little leather dress, while Dakota rocked a white mini dress with white features. Both girls looked amazing!
According to Hollywood Life, Dakota and Kristen were super tight all night, never leaving each others sides! “They were inseparable, even going to the bathroom together!” said their source.

High School Musical hottie Ashley Tisdale spent some time this afternoon (March 18th) at the Andy LeCompte salon in Los Angeles, where she got a little hair treatment. Ash was seen leaving the salon, dressed in an oversized grey sweater along with some skinny jeans and heels as she headed to her car which came with a parking ticket.
It has just been announced that Ashley has joined the cast of the new CW series Hellcats, which is focused on college cheerleaders. Also in the series is Aly Michalka!
Co-stars Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning sparkled last night (March 17th) at the New York premiere of their new movie The Runaways held at the Landmark Sunshine Cinema.
Kristen looked stunning in a gorgeous Pucci mini dress, along with some sweet pink lipstick while Dakota went for a neutral look in a skin-toned Elie Saab dress paired with some sexy heels.
Both girls are currently making their rounds in New York, promoting The Runaways which hits theaters tomorrow (March 19th).
