While Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield have been working hard on The Amazing Spider-Man 2 in New York, Sony pictures is already planning to add more movies onto their superhero franchise.

According to Deadline, Sony is planning on filming two more movies for the Amazing Spider-Man series, with the third film being released on June 10, 2016, and the fourth to be released on May 4, 2018.

Worldwide Marketing and Distribution chairman Jeff Blake said: “Spider-Man is our most important, most successful, and most beloved franchise, so we’re thrilled that we are in a position to lock in these prime release dates over the next five years.”

No word yet on which cast members will be returning for the additional movies.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will be released on May 2nd, 2014.

Cute couple Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield were spotted on set once more on Sunday (June 2), as they continued to film graduation scenes for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 in New York.

Sporting her graduation gown with a drink in hand, Emma was spotted chatting with her on-screen mother before taking a walk with Andrew in between takes.

Andrew didn’t have any films to shoot on Sunday, but stuck around the set to hang out with Emma while she continued filming. Just the day before the duo filmed a scene where they shared a graduation kiss on-stage.

Could these two get any cuter?

Adorable couple Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield were spotted hard at work on the set of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 on Saturday (June 1).

Reprising their roles in the highly anticipated sequel, Emma was spotted in her graduation gown as she gave a speech as valedictorian during a graduation ceremony, before Andrew hopped up onstage in his gown and a backpack to give her an on-screen kiss.

Emma was spotted taking some pictures on-set with her camera, while Andrew hung out in a white t-shirt and played with a basketball in New York City.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is currently slated to be released in 2014.

Keeping up their hard work, Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield hit the streets of New York on Wednesday (May 29) to continue filming The Amazing Spider-Man 2.

Dressed in their costumes, Emma was spotted filming a scene wearing a blue blazer and burgundy skirt as she walked down the street with Andrew chasing her. Between takes, Emma and Andrew were less serious, as the cute couple joked around together.

Emma and Andrew have been filming the movie since March, while the flick is anticipated to be released in 2014.

Avid breast cancer supporter Emma Stone stepped out on Tuesday night (May 21) for the 2013 Peace, Love & A Cure Triple Negative Breast Cancer Foundation Benefit in Cresskill, New Jersey.

Also spotted at the event was Emma’s boyfriend Andrew Garfield, who skipped the red carpet, but was seen inside the event where he was caught giving Emma a sweet kiss at her table.

During the benefit, Emma presented an award with her brother Spencer to their mother Krista, who is a breast cancer survivor.

As one of the faces of Revlon, Emma also presented an award to Revlon’s CEO Alan Ennis for the company’s support of breast cancer research, including their annual EIF Walk/Run for Women in NYC.

Emma and Andrew have been hard at work over the past month as they film The Amazing Spider-Man 2 in New York, where they reprise their roles of Peter Parker and Gwen Stacy.

With the great success of this summer’s The Amazing Spider-Man starring Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone, fans have been awaiting new details on what to expect with the next 2 films in the trilogy.

New reports have been released pointing at The Descendants star Shailene Woodley to take on a role in the next movie.

While it has been revealed that Electra is being considered as one of the movie’s villains, it has also been disclosed that the popular character Mary Jane Watson (previously played by Kirsten Dunst) will be making an appearance in the next film, with Shailene likely to fill her shoes.

As of right now, it is said that Shailene is the “leading choice” when it comes to casting Mary Jane.

It was just announced this morning that Shailene’s popular television series The Secret Life of the American Teenager, where she plays a teen mom, has been canceled by ABC Family after 5 seasons. Will this be Shailene’s next project?

Filming for the movie begins in early 2013.

This years nominees for the 2012 Do Something Awards have just been announced, revealing some of your favorite stars are up for awards!

Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber have been nominated under the ‘Couple’ category, for Selena’s work as a UNICEF Ambassador and her work with the Ryan Secrest Foundation. Justin has also been doing his part with making a pledge of almost $10,000 to help sick children at Aukland’s Starship Children’s Hospital.

Both Selena and her pal Taylor Swift are up for an award under the ‘Facebook’ category, after using Facebook to do good. This year, Taylor reached out to a fan battling leukemia after a facebook page was started to get Taylor to go to prom with him.

Movie actresses Emma Stone and Blake Lively were also nominated, for Emma’s work with Stand up to Cancer and the Revlon Run/Walk while Blake created a cupcake at Sprinkles Cupcakes where all proceeds go to Oxfam’s Famine relief fund for Somalia.
