Anna Kendrick Covers Marie Claire UK’s September Issue

Posted on 2 min read 28 views

Actress Anna Kendrick graces the cover of Marie Claire UK‘s September 2016 issue, where dishes on Twitter, her upcoming book, and the Pitch Perfect cast.

On the Pitch Perfect cast being a Family:

“[It’s] not [family] in the cheesy sense. In the truest sense. We didn’t choose each other, but if anyone tried to say anything against one of us, none of us would stand for it. We have a group text, everyone texts, ‘Love you guys, miss you so much, etc’, while I’m trying to think of a joke to text, because I’m not so great with sincerity. I’m like, ‘Get away from me.’ It’s not that I don’t love them, it’s just that’s not in my personality.”

Anna Kendrick Marie Claire

On her book Scrappy Little Nobody:

“I do feel like there are probably some exes who will maybe not be thrilled. But all I can say is, it was my perception of how it happened. I definitely wake up in cold sweats thinking, ‘Shit, I need to cut that. What was I thinking?’ There are times when I really want to censor a lot of it but then I just think, ‘Well then, why the hell am I doing it?’”

Anna Kendrick Marie Claire

On Twitter:

“On social media, a lot of people say, ‘I feel like I know you,’ but if anything, that’s beneficial to me, because when I interact with people and end up saying something awkward – which I am wont to do – they get it, and they don’t feel uncomfortable. People get my sense of humour in advance.”

‘Pitch Perfect 3’ Release Date Pushed Back to December 2017

Posted on 1 min read 29 views

For those of you eagerly awaiting the release of Pitch Perfect 3, it looks like you will be waiting a bit longer!

Universal studios initially planned to release the third Pitch Perfect movie (starring Anna Kendrick and Rebel Wilson) on July 21, 2017 when they announced the film last summer, but then pushed it back to August 4th at the end of September. Now, Deadline has reported that the movie has been pushed back even farther, with its new release date set to December 22 2017.

The change was reportedly made to maximize the success of the movie. If it were released during the summer, the movie would have to compete with summer blockbusters like Christopher Nolan‘s Dunkirk and Luc Besson‘s Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets.

By opening during Christmas time, Pitch Perfect 3 will instead provide another viewing option for those not heading out to see Star Wars: Episode VIII. The Croods 2, The Six Billion Dollar Man, and The Greatest Showman on Earth will also be opening during the 2017 Christmas period.

Will you be seeing PP3 next winter?

Check out the first trailer for Anna Kendrick‘s new movie The Accountant.

In the new Warner Bros film:

Christian Wolff (Ben Affleck) is a math savant with more affinity for numbers than people. Behind the cover of a small-town CPA office, he works as a freelance accountant for some of the world’s most dangerous criminal organizations. With the Treasury Department’s Crime Enforcement Division, run by Ray King (J.K. Simmons), starting to close in, Christian takes on a legitimate client: a state-of-the-art robotics company where an accounting clerk (Anna Kendrick) has discovered a discrepancy involving millions of dollars. But as Christian uncooks the books and gets closer to the truth, it is the body count that starts to rise.

The movie is slated to hit theatres on October 14, 2016.
