Shake it Up star Bella Thorne is the newest cover girl for Girls Life‘s brand new June/July 2013 issue.

The Disney darling revealed the new cover photo tonight, where she rocks one of summer’s hottest trends – a jean vest – over a cute floral top. Earlier in the night, Bella temaed up with Girls’ Life to host a live Facebook chat with her fans, where she answered fan questions and gave them a chance to win a signed copy of the magazine.

In the mean time, fans can still catch Bella on the Disney Channel on her hit show Shake it Up.

Shake it Up star Bella Thorne shared some cool pictures of her holiday fun with OK Magazine, after spending some time with her boyfriend Tristan Klier and some friends in Lake Tahoe.

“I’m with my family, Tristan’s family, and all of our friends in Lake Tahoe. There’s SNOW!!!” Bella said on her Christmas plans. The actress is also planning on also ringing in the New Year with Tristan and his family. “We will still be in Lake Tahoe. We will have a family party and I brought a dress, but I am not sure if I will be able to wear it—it’s VERY cold here!”

While getting in the Christmas spirit, Bella revealed that her favourite Christmas movie is How The Grinch Stole Christmas. Bella also admitted her favourite Christmas song is “Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree, which I got to cover this year on the Disney Christmas album. I was so excited!”

As for gifts, Bella chatted about what her favourite gift she received was – “My Ipad mini!” Bella also loved her other gifts, including the one Tristan bought her! “He bought me a sweet white-gold bracelet with a cross on it. He is very Catholic!”

“I gave my mom Chanel perfume and I got Tristan a bike! I got lots of presents for Kingston and I bought my brother some clothes and both of my sisters received shoes.” Bella said.

As for New Years plans, Bella has already decided on her resolution for 2013. “I am going to join a gym so I can work out with my mom and spend some alone time with her. I am going to be more involved in charity and in my community. I am also going to work on becoming a better singer…well continue to work on it as I am regularly now.”

“It is very important to give back to your community. I have known what it is like to struggle after my dad died and now I am so thankful for everything I have—I want to share that with my community.” Bella shared on the importance of working with charities. Her favourite part of helping others? “The best part was the kids’ faces when they received the toys. That look alone made this the best Christmas for me.”

Disney darling Bella Thorne may have to wear makeup all the time for her show Shake It Up, and her red carpet appearances – but the teen star has opened up to OK Magazine on how much teens should be wearing makeup!

The actress opened up to share some of her best tips to keeping her skin look great, even when it’s not in the best shape! Here’s what she had to say:

“Never leave your makeup on too long,” Bella says. “When you don’t have to wear makeup, then don’t! If you’re going to the mall with your friends then don’t wear makeup. Your skin does not need your pores clogged,”

“Wiping your face with a rag is actually really bad for you because what it does is when your scrubbing whatever is left on the rag, even if it’s clean leaves bacteria. Your pores open up and what happens is if you go to sleep on your pillow, it’s not good. Don’t use a rag.” She continued.

Other than ditching the rag, what’s another key thing everyone should be doing for their skin? “Always keep your face moisturized. When I travel, I usually get a pimple. I’m not going to lie. It always happens. For that I would just say use those little Evian bottles and make sure your face is just hydrated.”

Celebrities were going Twitter-crazy yesterday as they brought out their red, white and blue gear for the 4th of July. Stars like Miley Cyrus and Vanessa Hudgens met up with their friends for some fun celebrations, which included watching fireworks at the end of the day. Other stars celebrated pool-side with a refreshing swim while others had a barbeque.

Plenty of Hollywood’s young stars stepped out last night (June 14th) to attend the 14th Annual Young Hollywood Awards at the Hollywood Athletic Club. Twilight hottie Ashley Greene rocked a black sequinned top and dark jeans, while iCarly star Miranda Cosgrove opted for a blue dress and booties.

Hailee Steinfeld showed off her adventurous side in a bold cream top and pants with a big flower decor. Mad Men star Kiernan Shipka also showed off some cute white flower detailing on her dress!

Other celebs who were spotted at the event include Pretty Little Liars‘ Janel Parrish, Big Time Rush singer James Maslow, I Am Number Four actor Alex Pettyfer, Modern Family buds Rico Rodriguez and Nolan Gould, Shake it Up sweetie Bella Thorne, and Moises Arias.

Yesterday (June 13) marked the grand opening of Cars Land, a new attraction at the Disney Land resort in California. Young stars came out for the big opening yesterday, and were spotted posting for pictures on the red carpet.

Disney sweethearts Zendaya Coleman and Bella Thorne showed off their Disney pride as they showed up rocking some cool Disney gear.

The stars of ABC’s hit show Modern Family also came out for the event, with Sarah Hyland looking gorgeous in a maxi dress and wavy hair, and Ariel Winter showing off her legs in a cute jumper. Rico Rodriguez and Nolan Gould of the series also showed up to check out the new attraction!
