Miranda Cosgrove talks about heading to College
Despicable Me star Miranda Cosgrove was spotted looking pretty in pink on Monday (July 2nd) at the Grand Opening of the Despicable Me Minion Mayhem attraction at the Universal Orlando Resort. Miranda, who voices the character of Margo in the movie, will be returning in the movie’s highly anticipatel sequel in 2013.
Miranda has been busy over the past year wrapping up her Nickelodeon series iCarly after 6 seasons playing Carly Shay. The cast just filmed their final episode, which Miranda admitted got “emotional”.
“We’re finished with iCarly forever, which is kind of crazy,” Miranda told People. “Especially during the last scene, everyone started crying,”
The 19-year-old has more exciting things in store for the future, as she plans to head to the University of Southern California this August for school!
“I’m looking forward to being back in a school environment after doing home schooling for so long,” she revealed. “I’m just excited to meet people and learn.”
“And I’m excited for theater,” she continues. “I’ve been acting for a while but theater is pretty different. I’ve never been in a play. I want to keep acting and I thought it would be easier if I lived in L.A., and I get to stay near my family.”

Hunger Games & Harry Potter Lead 2012 MTV Movie Award Nominations!
The nominees for the 2012 MTV Movie Awards have been announced!
The new list of nominations for this years show have been posted, revealing that smash-hits Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows: Part 2 and The Hunger Games lead this years nominations with Harry Potter receiving 5 nominations, and the Hunger Games bringing in 6.
Other top movies that were nominated include Breaking Dawn Part 1, The Help, and Project X.

Max Mondryk gets into College
UK Teen band star Max Mondryk has made it into college. The star who done his GCSES but also was on tour said. Max wants to continue college but at the same time work with his boy band ReConnected. ReConnected are set to bring out an album in 2011.
