The final movie from the Harry Potter series made its way into theaters this weekend, breaking records as it comes in as the biggest opening of all time. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows 2 brought in $168.6 million after being in theaters for just three days! The former leader in biggest opening was The Dark Knight which opened with $158.4 million back in 2008.

The previous Harry Potter movie also opened big on it’s opening weekend, debuting with $125 million.

Taking a break from her busy press duties, Emma Watson was spotted doing some relaxing in New York on Wednesday (July 13th) as she did some shopping with friends. Emma looked cute in a grey top with some stylish sunglasses as she and her friends stopped off at a jewelry stand in New York for some new fashion finds.

With the final movie hitting theatres in just 3 days, the cast of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 made an appearance in New York last night (July 11th) to attend the premiere of the movie. Emma Watson looked pretty in a Bottega Veneta gown and some daring makeup as she hit the red carpet along with Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, Tom Felton, and Matthew Lewis.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 opens in theaters this Friday (July 15th)! It is the eighth and final film in the Harry Potter series.

Despite multiple rumours that she had dropped out of school, British actress Emma Watson insists she is still planning on finishing her education. The Harry Potter star revealed her education plans, clearing up all the rumours.

“I’m going to Oxford in the fall, to study English for a year.” She explained, “Just to explain, I haven’t left Brown. I’m still enrolled at Brown, but I’m doing my third year abroad to study at home.”

Emma also talked about her connection to her character Hermione Granger. “I’m also a bit of a feminist. I speak my mind in the same way that she does… I feel like young girls are told they have to be a princess, and be delicate and fragile, and that’s bulls**t. I identify much more with the idea of being a warrior, being a fighter. If I was going to be a princess, I’d be a warrior princess, definitely.”

Harry Potter hits theatres this Friday (July 15th)!

British beauty Emma Watson dazzled in a pretty blue layered gown today (July 7th) at the world premiere of the final Harry Potter film in London, England. Emma arrived on the red carpet, posing for pictures before signing autographs for fans. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 hits theatres on July 15th, and is the final film in the series.

She looks great!

The cast for the beloved Harry Potter series gathered today (July 6th) in London, England for a photocall for the final movie. Emma Watson, Rupert Grint and Tom Felton were all in attendance, posing for pictures along with co-stars Evanna Lynch, Bonnie Wright, and Oliver and James Phelps.

The cast are currently gearing up for the July 15th release of the final film, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2.

Harry Potter star Emma Watson has reportedly landed a new role in the movie My Week With Marilyn alongside Michelle Williams, Dominic Cooper and Judi Dench.

Emma is said to be playing Lucy, a wardrobe assistant in the movie which is based on a book by Colin Clark about Clark’s experience working with Marilyn Monroe. Emma’s character is also expected to be the love interest of Colin Clark, the main character.
