He’s best known for his role as Emmett Cullen in the Twilight series, but actor Kellan Lutz has stepped into a new kind of role for his next project Syrup. Kellan recently chatted with MTV about his new character.

“‘Syrup’ is about two twenty-something-year-olds, and it’s a love story about marketing and two soda companies and the race to create the big, amazing product, it’s very fast paced. It’s very much ‘Wall Street’ meets the advertisement world.”Kellan says.

“I play a character named Sneaky Pete, and what I love about him is he doesn’t say anything in the whole movie except until the end,” he reveals. “It’s different, it really is,it’s great that there’s reason behind it all versus not having lines, in a movie like this when you’re acting, less is more. You find clever ways to act without speaking.”

Kellan will star in Breaking Dawn Part 1, which hits theatres on November 18th!

Actor Kellan Lutz took on the role of a tour guide on Thursday (April 21st) as he showed his parents around Vancouver. Kellan was spotted taking a stroll along the streets of Canada while his parents visited on their Anniversary, where Kellan is currently filming his final scenes for the Twilight series.

Later on in the day, Kellan and his family were spotted once again as they headed out to catch a movie together. Great family bonding time!

Check out the new trailer for the upcoming movie Love, Wedding, Marriage starring Kellan Lutz, Mandy Moore, and Jessica Szohr. The movie is based on a newlywed marriage councillor who tries to fix her parents’ marriage after learning that they want a divorce. The movie is expected to come out later this year. Can’t wait!

Doing his part to stay in top shape, actor Kellan Lutz was spotted making his normal trip to the gym yesterday in Los Angeles. The Twilight actor was spotted in his workout gear with a gatorade drink in hand as he left his local fitness studio.

Kellan is scheduled to fly out to Vancouver, Canada soon to shoot scenes for the next Twilight film Breaking Dawn, where he plays the macho vampire Emmett.

Actor Kellan Lutz was spotted by the cameras on Thursday (December 2nd) as he left his home in Los Angeles. The Twilight star had his bags in hand as he headed off to the LAX Airport as he continues to film Breaking Dawn (Part 1). Kellan looked cool as he headed off to the airport in a leather jacket, sunglasses, and one of his favorite hats.

After spending some time in Louisiana, actor Kellan Lutz was caught arriving back home in Los Angeles yesterday (October 27th). The Twilight hottie has been busy in Louisiana lately with the rest of the cast of Breaking Dawn, where they have been filming the first part of the next movie in the popular vampire saga.

Doing some press work by himself, actor Kellan Lutz made an appearance today in Spain to promote the DVD release of Eclipse. Kellan spent some time signing autographs and taking pictures with awaiting fans outside the Hotel Melia, before doing his promo work during the 43rd Sitges Film Festival.

Eclipse is set to be released on DVD & Blu-Ray on December 4th, 2010 – just in time for the holidays!
