In the final video of The Hurricane Sessions, singer Bridgit Mendler ditches the covers she’s been performing in favor of one of her own songs.

Performing an acoustic version of her current single Hurricane, Bridgit shows off her vocals in this new Vevo video.

Hurricane is Bridgit’s second single off of her debut album Hello My Name Is…, after the debut single Ready or Not.

You can also catch Bridgit in Season 4 of Good Luck Charlie on the Disney Channel. Bridgit was just nominated for Choice Comedy Actress in this years Teen Choice Awards for her role in Good Luck Charlie!

The girls from Fifth Harmony paid a visit to Seventeen last week while they visited New York to do some press work. During their visit to the magazine’s offices, Camila Cabello, Normani Kordei, Lauren Jauregui, Ally Hernandez and Dinah Jane Hansen did an acoustic performance of Ed Sheeran‘s latest single Lego House.

After competing on The X Factor last season, the girls have been in the studio working hard on their first album. The group have even been working with producer Julian Bunetta on their debut album, who also worked with superstars One Direction on their music!

The girls from Fifth Harmony are back at it again with yet another amazing cover!

Camila Cabello, Normani Kordei, Lauren Jauregui, Ally Hernandez and Dinah Jane Hansen stopped by the Idolator studios lately, where they performed a cover of Taylor Swift‘s song Red.

Their harmonies are amazing!

The girls shared the video on their Twitter, saying: “We had so much fun covering @taylorswift13′s “Red” with @idolator! We love this song! Hope u like our take on it ”

Exciting news for all you JoBro fans!

The Jonas Brothers will be taking the stage at this year’s Miss USA Competition on June 16th to do a live performance during the competition.

The youngest of the three brothers, Nick Jonas will not only be performing with his brothers, but also co-hosting the big event along with E! News personality Giuliana Rancic.

In a press release, President of the Miss Universe Organization Paula M. Shugart said: “We are excited to announce a veteran and a newcomer as hosts for this year’s MISS USA Competition. The diverse backgrounds of Rancic and Jonas in the entertainment industry will bring a new and exciting energy to the stage.”

Nick took to his Twitter page today to make the big announcement saying, “Excited that I will be hosting the 2013 #MissUSA pageant on 6/16 LIVE on @NBC at 9pm ET w/ @GiulianaRancic”

Proving her great fashion sense once more, singer Taylor Swift sparkled on the blue carpet last night (May 19) in Las Vegas, as she attended the 2013 Billboard Music Awards at the MGM Grand Arena. Showing off her long legs in a blue sequin Zuhair Murad dress and Jimmy Choo platform sandals, all eyes were on Taylor as she arrived at the big event.

During the night, Taylor was spotted having a blast with her pal Selena Gomez in the front row, as the besties danced along to the night’s many performers.

Taylor took to the stage herself during the show, as she put on a huge performance of her latest single 22 – Taylor even showed off her dancing moves!

Throughout the night, Taylor also took home the most awards of the night, picking up 8 awards in total! Taylor won Top Artist, Top Female Artist, Top Billboard 200 Artist, Top Digital Songs Artist, Top Country Artist, Top Billboard 200 Album, Top Country Album and Top Country Song.

At the end of the night, Taylor Tweeted a short and sweet message saying, “Best. Night.”

Singer Selena Gomez wowed last night (May 19) as she hit the blue carpet in Las Vegas for the 2013 Billboard Music Awards at the MGM Grand Arena.

Showing off a glowing tan in a gorgeous white cut-out Atelier Versace dress, Selena showed some leg as she walked the carpet in her Jimmy Choo heels.

During the show, Selena did a quick dress change into a funky gold gown for her performance of Come and Get It, before changing into a third black dress with sheer paneling to introduce her BFF Taylor Swift to the stage. During the show, Selena and Taylor sat together, and were spotted rocking out to the performances in the front row.

Canadian singer Carly Rae Jepsen made an appearance on last night’s episode (May 15) of American Idol, where she performed a brand new song called I Take a Picture.

Carly rocked a bright yellow blazer and some shorts as she performed the new song, which was a part of the Coca-Cola Perfect Harmony project, where fans had the opportunity to help choose some of the lyrics of the new song!

While unveiling the new song, Carly tweeted: “Tonight I unveil my new song YOU helped create! Who’s excited to hear #TakeAPicture on @AmericanIdol? 8/7c!

In another video from The Hurricane Sessions, Disney star Bridgit Mendler does a new cover of the hit song Locked out of Heaven by Bruno Mars.

For the new video, Bridgit says: “I love this Bruno Mars song and did a cover of it in the studio recently. I’ll be adding a new video from these sessions over the next three weeks. Hope you guys like them!”

Bridgit has already posted a previous cover she did in the studio of Ellie Goulding‘s Starry Eyed. If you haven’t seen it you can watch it here!

The singer has been busy over the past month promoting her debut album Hello My Name Is…, along with her new single Hurricane.
