Ashley Tisdale Drops By Extra To Promote New Makeup Line ‘Illuminate’

Posted on 1 min read 23 views

Actress Ashley Tisdale was spotted out in Universal City, California on Wednesday (May 31), where she visited the set of Extra at Universal Studios Hollywood to chat about her new makeup line and TV series Young & Hungry.

During her appearance, Ashley sat down with Mario Lopez to chat about her latest projects, including her newly launched makeup collection Illuminate by Ashley.

“I just wanted to come out with something that was affordable for my fans. They’re always talking about what I’m wearing and how did I do my makeup, and so this was just an amazing opportunity to partner up with BH Cosmetics to come out with my own line.” Ashley explained.

In the meantime, Ashley’s show on which she works as an executive producer, Young & Hungry, has been picked up for a fourth season on Freeform, and Ashley is also slated to executive produce and star in an upcoming spin-off of the show.

“I just did a spinoff episode of the show, so it’ll actually air with Young & Hungry, and I’m really excited about it. The spinoff takes place with Sophia, who is played by Aimee Carrero, and it’s kind of like Working Girl meets Devil Wears Prada, which is so much fun. It’s a really cool concept,” Ashley says.

We can’t wait to see Ashley’s new series!

You can check out Ashley’s new cosmetics line here. Also, don’t forget to tune into Freeform tonight at 8:30PM ET for the mid-season premiere of Young & Hungry!

Patrick applied Light Wonder Foundation in Shade 3 ($45) to create a clean and bright look for Bella's complexion.
Charlotte Tilbury The Retoucher

Step Three

Any imperfections were concealed with The Retoucher in Shade 2 ($35).
Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze and Glow

To contour Bella's cheekbones, Patrick used Charlotte's cult favorite Filmstar Bronze and Glow ($68), saying: "This product photographs amazingly and Bella loves a softly contoured look."

Step Five

Bella's glowing complexion was finished off with the Cheek to Chic Blusher in First Love ($40) on the apples of Bella's cheeks to give her a 'healthy flush.'
Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish

Step Six

To make sure Bella's glowing look lasts, her face was then dusted with the Airbrush Flawless Finish in Shade 1 ($45).
Charlotte Tilbury The Luxury Palette in The Sophisticate

Charlotte Tilbury Life Changing Lashes

Step Nine

For a red-carpet glamour look, Bella's lashes were then curled using Life Changing Lashes ($22).
Charlotte Tilbury Legendary Lashes

Step Ten

Patrick then applied two coats of Charlotte's new Legendary Lashes Mascara ($30) for an instant flase lash effect.
Charlotte Tilbury K.I.S.S.I.N.G Lipstick in Penelope Pink

Step Eleven

To finish off her look, Patrick then applied the K.I.S.S.I.N.G Lipstick in Penelope Pink ($32), complimenting the naturally flushed cheeks and completing Bella's signature effortless look.

Check Out Transformer Star Nicola Peltz’s Red Carpet Beauty Routine!

Posted on 2 min read 51 views

Over the past couple of weeks, Nicola Peltz has made a splash on every red carpet she hits, never failing to look fabulous with her fashion and beauty choice.

Now, the 19-year-old Transformers: Age of Extinction actress revealed how she gets red-carpet ready, as she prepped for the NYC premiere of Transformers with Teen Vogue.

“We’ve been with Nicola for the full tour,” Kate Lee, a Chanel celebrity makeup artist, revealed. “In fact, we just got back from Asia yesterday! But Nicola has been gathering attention wherever she goes, which is so nice to see. She’s really good fun and such a pleasure to work with. The best part is, she’s really into fashion and makeup, which makes it so much more fun and inspiring for Adir and me. It’s quite rare to find a girl who enjoys the process.”

As for Nicola’s make-up look for the night, Kate explained:

“We had just done a sleek cat eye for another one of the red carpets, so I wanted a full-on, Bianca Jagger-esque smoky for this evening. Basically, I wanted to create an elongated almond shape with a bit of fun going on in the inside corner. Chanel has new quads coming out next week and they are so soft and super easy to blend. I used a charcoal brown shade from the Tissé Vendôme palette.”

“With a fluffy Chanel #10 brush, I blended it out from the socket and out into that elongated shape, and left the inner corner bare. To blend and diffuse the color, I dusted with a clean Laura Mercier Ponytail Brush. That’s important, you know, to always have a clean fluffy brush and then one to apply colour.”

“On the inner corner, I used this genius, almost mousse-like eye product Chanel makes called Illusion D’Ombre in the color “New Moon,” which served as my highlight. From a distance, it gives a wet effect to the eye and less like a traditional smoky. I also blended it onto the inner third of the lid and a bit on the inside of the nose.”

“There’s no liner at all—I just curled her lashes and did one coat of Inimitable Waterproof Mascara. I didn’t want loads of lashes with this eye, otherwise it would start to look a bit contrived. It’s important to have balance with a bold beauty look.”

Nicola looked AMAZING at the premiere!

To see her complete routine along with how her hair was done, be sure to check out Nicola’s Teen Vogue feature.

Transformers: Age of Extinction opened in theatres this weekend. Be sure to check it out!
