“It was surreal, and we had so much fun,” she said. “He’s hilarious and we were messing around the whole time.”

Melissa and Grant will also be working together for the upcoming seasons of their shows – the CW has announced that it is planning a four-way crossover this year featuring all of its DC shows (Supergirl, The Flash, Arrow, and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow).

Season 2 of Supergirl premieres Monday, October 10 at 8pm on the CW!

Melissa Benoist Premieres ‘Lowriders’ at the LA Film Festival

Posted on 1 min read 32 views

Actress Melissa Benoist was spotted walking the red carpet in Hollywood on Wednesday (June 1), as she attended the opening night premiere of her new movie Lowriders during the 2016 LA Film Festival at the ArcLight Cinemas.

The Supergirl star was all smiles as she posed for pictures in an all-black ensemble while arriving at the premiere, where she was joined by co-stars like Eva Longoria and Demián Bichir as they screened their movie for the first time.

In the movie:

Where teenaged Danny is from, lowrider culture is about more than just spectacular cars—it’s about ethnic heritage, community expression and family traditions. When an annual lowrider event forces him to choose between his traditional father (Demian Bichir, in a nuanced portrayal of grief and disconnect) and his estranged criminal brother (Theo Rossi), Danny’s loyalties are severely tested.

‘Supergirl’ is Moving to the CW for Season 2

Posted on 1 min read 22 views

Supergirl will officially be back for a second season – but on another network.

Deadline has reported that the CW has picked up the show for it’s new season, moving it from its current home at CBS.

With this new move, Supergirl (starring Melissa Benoist) will be joining the CW’s expanding DC universe, joining their current shows The Flash, Arrow, and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. Supergirl has already had a cross-over with The Flash in its first season, and this new network change will make it easier to integrate the character with the other shows.

As with the other CW DC shows, Supergirl will also be making the move from Los Angeles to Vancouver for the filming of the second season.

We’re happy to see Supergirl get another season!
