The latest victim of celebrity “swatting” pranks is Miley Cyrus, whose house the police were called to on Friday night (May 17).

According to TMZ, the police received a call from a female at 8:55pm who was “claiming to be calling from her closet and reporting shots fired in her home.”

Once the police arrived on the scene, they discovered that the call was indeed a hoax. Miley is said to not have been home during the incident.

This isn’t the first time Miley has been ‘swatted’, after the police were sent to her house once again last August.

Miley will be in Las Vegas tomorrow for the 2013 Billboard Music Awards, where she is not only scheduled to present during the night, but also make a big announcement about her new upcoming single We Can’t Stop! We’re excited to see what Miley has in store!

Twitter blew up last night as Miley Cyrus revealed the name of her very first single off her next album, We Can’t Stop. The 20-year-old singer took to her twitter to make the announcement, writing: “Cats outta the bag! LETS TREND MY 1st SINGLE #wecantstop”

Miley fans, better known as ‘smilers’, quickly shot the the hashtag #wecantstop to number one worldwide in support of Miley.

“#WeCantStop is the NUMBER ONE trending topic worldwide!” Miley wrote, “We can’t stop TRENDING #wecantstop”

But that’s not all! Miley is STILL planning on making an announcement for her fans at Sunday’s Billboard Music Awards. The star teased, “Big announcement about #wecantstop coming @billboard”

All night fans have been creating their own artwork for the new single, sending it to Miley who will be putting it up on her official website. Miley wrote to fans: “Yo! This we can’t stop artwork is crazy! Keep sending it in! I wanna RT and put up on website! This shits DOPE! Making a #FANART gallery on http://Mileycyrus.com ill let ya know when it’s up and running xoxo”

Maxim held their annual Hot 100 Party last night in Hollywood (May 15) to celebrate their new Hot 100 issue, bringing out some of todays hottest stars. Among those who attended as this year’s #1 hottie on the list, 20-year-old Miley Cyrus who hit the red carpet rocking some bold red lips and a sexy Valentino jumpsuit.

Miley was all smiles as she walked the red carpet, showing off a gorgeous bow on the back of her jumpsuit. While getting ready for the event, the star took to her twitter page to write, “Hmmm …. What to wear… What to wear….. Hmmmm. Valentino ? you’ve never done me wrong!”

We think Miley looks AMAZING!

The singer will soon be flying out to Las Vegas to attend this years Billboard Music Awards, where she is scheduled to not only be a presenter during the show, but also reveal some news about her music!

“Makin a special announcement this weekend @billboard #tunein” Miley teased on Twitter.

Celebrities often receive many negative messages via Twitter, and now singer Miley Cyrus has taken to her page to urge fans to not spread the hate! After receiving many negative messages from other artist’s fanbases, such as Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift fans, Miley encouraged the fans to play nice and be friends.

In a message this past Sunday (May 12), Miley wrote: “Everyday someone with a Swift or Gomez in there name wishes terrible things upon me (death is popular) Please Smilers don’t ever think somehow you are supporting me by being hateful towards other artist. My fans make me proud by supporting my music & everything I do.”

Miley continued, “Im sure these haters would make their idols much happier tweeting bout their music rather than wishing death upon their peers like psychos”

After stirring up some drama online with Twitter users calling out Miley fans for acting in the same fashion, Miley wrote: “Btw im not saying Smilers can’t act cray cray too. #deaththreats #TOOOOFAR”

“We are all friends. Why can’t you all be?”

Miley has also used her Twitter page to hint at some big music news that may be coming this weekend at the Billboard Music Awards, where the 20-year-old star may even introduce a brand new single! Can’t wait to see what she has in store! The awards takes place this Sunday in Los Angeles.

Yesterday morning (May 10), singer/actress Selena Gomez took some time away from the set of Rudderless to stop by 1033 AMP Radio in Boston to chat about her new single Come and Get It, as well as open about her good pals Demi Lovato and Taylor Swift.

When asked about Taylor, Selena said: “Taylor is the best hostess ever. So, when we go to her house we usually have homemade cupcakes, or some sort of fattening sweet that she makes from scratch completely.”

She continued, “Oh my gosh, she’s incredible! We’ll go to her house and hang out, just talk a lot and play music and she’ll play us a song. She’s so cool. She’s definitely been through some of the hardest times with me.”

Selena also opened up about Demi, and her balance of friends who are and are not in the Hollywood business.

“Taylor and Demi are really the only ones that I can know that I can say absolutely I want to, and they know me better than anyone.” Selena said. “I am very cautious of who I trust, but I have a good balance of people who aren’t in the business, that helps me just having cool people that are chill and normal.”

On Being #2 on Maxim’s Hot 100 “Someone told me that I was number 2 and I laughed, I don’t understand that they have a Hot List. I don’t like that kind of stuff.” Selena said.

Bold beauty Miley Cyrus shows off her pilates-toned body in this daring new photo for Maxim magazine. The 20-year-old singer was just named #1 on the magazine’s Hot 100 list for the year, and has admitted that it’s very exciting to have snagged the top spot on the annual list.

“It feels amazing to be No. 1, especially because it was voted on by the fans. I have the best fans in the world!” Miley said. “It’s every woman’s fantasy to be told she’s No.1 on Maxim’s Hot 100! So crazy!”

The magazine spoke about Miley in a recent press release saying, “This pixie-haired beauty brought it home for America, storming to the top spot the first week of voting and never losing command of her seat of world power.”

After Miley Cyrus made the big announcement this past weekend that she made the #1 spot on Maxim’s Hot 100 list, the magazine has finally released the full list of fan-voted 100 sexiest and hottest women celebrities of the year.

Coming up right behind Miley in the number two spot is Spring Breakers star Selena Gomez, followed by Rihanna, Mila Kunis, and Hunger Games beauty Jennifer Lawrence at number 5.

Former Disney darling Ashley Tisdale ranked number 7 on the list, while her BFF Vanessa Hudgens came in at number 9.

Other stars who made the list include Taylor Swift at number 13, Emma Watson at number 19, Emma Stone at number 21, and Blake Lively at number 24.

Heart Attack singer Demi Lovato found her way onto the list at number 26, along with the rest of these ladies: Leighton Meester (36), Lea Michele (39), Sarah Hyland (44), Naya Rivera (45), Ashley Greene (47), Nina Dobrev (48), Brittany Snow (51), Emma Roberts (76), and Ashley Benson (82).

Not one to shy away from a bold look, Miley Cyrus truly embodied the essence of punk last night as she attended the 2013 MET Gala in New York City. Dressed in a Marc Jacobs Mesh gown paired with spiked hair and bold red lips, Miley rocked the night’s theme of PUNK: Chaos to Couture.

Miley’s look is one of the most buzzed-about looks of the night, receiving lots of praise from others.
