With just a few days to go until Vanessa Hudgens co-hosts this weekend’s Billboard Music Awards with Ludacris, the singer/actress has dished on all the things she’s looking forward to at this year’s show.
The thing Vanessa’s most excited for? Meeting singer Céline Dion: “My parents had The Colour of My Love album by Céline Dion when I was growing up and I would always get my karaoke machine and sing along,” Vanessa told People. “I feel like Céline is the reason I have the range that I have, because I sang along to those songs.”
Vanessa also admitted that the thing she’s most nervous about is: “Maybe not freaking out at Céline, that’s probably it.”
“The fact that Céline and Cher are both performing on the same awards show, I feel like it doesn’t get more epic than that.”

Singer Miley Cyrus played the role of talkshow host on Wednesday (September 28), as she filled in as the host of The Ellen Show whil Ellen Degeneres was off sick.
During her appearance, Miley sat down to interview Frozen star Idinz Menzel and actress Sarah Jessica Parker, all the while doing her best to emulate Ellen.
“I know all of you came to see Ellen,” Miley said in her opening monologue. “So I’m gonna do my best to make you very happy. I’m dressed like her, I smell like her, just before I came out here I actually kissed a girl. I’ll admit I’m a little bit nervous because I’ve never hosted a show with my clothes on before, so this is so weird.”
The bad news is I’m sick & can’t tape my show today. The good news is @MileyCyrus dropped everything to host for me. Thanks, Miley!
Singer Miley Cyrus made a special appearance in Las Vegas on Friday (September 23), as she hit the stage with Billy Idol to perform during the 2016 iHeartRadio Music Festival at the T-Mobile Arena.
The 23-year-old Adore You singer joined Idol on-stage to perform his hit 1983 song “Rebel Yell” while decked out in head-to-toe vegan leather and some ‘Billy Idol’ sunglasses.
“Singing with Billy f***ing Idol, let’s do it!” Miley said to the crowd when she first appeared during Idol’s set.

This week, Miley made her first appearance as a mentor on The Voice where she fought for contestants to join her team during the newest round of blind auditions. You can catch Miley on the show every Monday and Tuesday at 8/7 central on NBC.
Miley also stars in Amazon’s upcoming series Crisis in Six Scenes alongside Woody Allen, which is set to premiere on September 30th. Here’s the trailer for the show:
Singer/Actress Miley Cyrus graces the new October 2016 issue of Elle magazine, where she opens up on her role as a mentor on The Voice, being famous, and using Snapchat.
On How She’ll Advise her Contestants on ‘The Voice’:
“…I don’t want this to come off the wrong way, but I’m going to tell my contestants: Be Bernie Sanders. Be the person people want and love. Don’t worry about the masses. That’s how you make a memorable moment. Let people talk about it.”
On Fame & Red Carpets:
“[A year ago] I had to do the [A Very Murray Christmas] premiere, and I will never do a red carpet again. Why, when people are starving, am I on a carpet that’s red? Because I’m ‘important’? Because I’m ‘famous’? That’s not how I roll. It’s like a skit—it’s like Zoolander.”
On Britney Spears:
“[My manager Adam Leber] works with her; we’ve stayed close because of that. She’s a little distant in her world. I just want Britney to be happy. Every time she puts out new music, I’m like, ‘Is that what she wants to be doing? Or does she just want to chill?’ She’s looking so good right now, and looking happy.”
On if she uses Snapchat:
“No. I want to be. I don’t know how to use it. I feel like I’ll be an old lady that’s too held back, because I don’t keep up with it. I’m not on Pokémon Go. [This morning] Liam woke up and tried to go to the car wash because it was a—what do you call it?—PokéSpot. Like, “Got to go find them and catch them all! Ahh!”

The new season of The Voice will premiere on Monday, September 19 at 8/7c on NBC.
Since rekindling their romance this year, Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have kept their relationship relatively private when it comes to social media.
However, the 23-year-old We Can’t Stop singer gave fans an inside peek at her life with Hemsworth over the weekend, by sharing a sweet Instagram video of the pair riding in the car together with their dog, where they can be heard singing along to Justin Bieber‘s song Love Yourself.

In the meantime, Miley is set to serve as a coach on the upcoming season of The Voice, where she will be joining Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, and Alicia Keys in mentoring contestants during this year’s competition.
You can catch Miley on The Voice every Monday and Tuesday starting September 19th at 9/8 central on NBC!
Singer/actress Miley Cyrus made a special television appearance on Tuesday (May 31) for the premiere of NBC’s new variety show Maya and Marty.
The 23-year-old joined other big-name guests like Steve Martin and Tom Hanks during the premiere, where she took the stage to do a special mashup performance of Leonard Cohen‘s I’m Your Man and Peggy Lee‘s I’m a Woman.
Miley’s performance wasn’t her only appearance during the night – the star also appeared during a sketch parodying the popular children’s book Goodnight Moon.
The series has finished filming yet remains untitled, however, Woody did reveal that: “it’s six half-hour episodes. And it ends. It’s not the kind of thing that could go on in perpetuity. It’s one story. It’s a comedy that stars me, Elaine May and Miley Cyrus primarily, a domestic comedy that takes place in the late 1960s. And hopefully people will find it amusing. It’s not going to start any new religions, I can tell you that.”
When asked about meeting Miley, Woody stated that he hadn’t met the former Disney star before this project, however, he had noticed her years before during her run on Hannah Montana.
“I noticed years ago that my kids would be watching Hannah Montana,” he explained. “And I would say: ‘Who is that girl? She’s got such a good delivery. You know, she snaps those lines off so well. The show is a silly little show, but she’s very good at what she does.” And then she emerged as a singer, and someone showed me a little clip of hers from Saturday Night Live, and I said, “It confirms what I always thought about her: She is very good, she is really a talented girl.’ She wanted to take some time off, but she [agreed to do the series] because the role interested her. So I met her right here.”
As of now, no release date has been set for the untitled Amazon series.
While rumours continue to swirl about exes Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth dating again after being spotted cuddling and kissing in Australia over the holidays, a source has revealed that Miley’s feelings towards Liam haven’t changed since their breakup, and the two are considering possibly getting back together.
The source told E News that: “Miley came back to LA on Monday after spending the holidays with Liam. She had the time of her life being with him and his family.”
The source adds, “She feels like they could pick up right where they left off. Miley has never gotten over Liam and always hoped they would get back together. She doesn’t know where it will go, but she definitely still loves him and wants to be with him. Liam has an interest in being back together too.”
A source also spoke to People, saying: “Despite them constantly fighting before the split, Miley always said Liam is the love of her life.”
“There were so many things that she loved about their relationship. They had a lot of fun and Liam was mostly very supportive of Miley.”
Miley and Liam started dating in 2009 while filming The Last Song and got engaged in 2012. They later called of their engagement in September 2013.
