The wait is almost over!

It has just been revealed that Justin Bieber will be premiering his new music video for Boyfriend this Thursday (May 3rd) on MTV! The highly anticipated video will finally be revealed during MTV First: Justin Bieber at 7:50 ET on MTV.

If you miss it, then you can head on over to MTV afterwards where the video will be posted online for fans to enjoy.

Boyfriend is Justin’s first single off of his upcoming album Believe, which is to be released in June. Bieber will be taking the stage to perform the song live at the upcoming finale of NBC’s singing competition The Voice.

“The reaction’s been great . I’ve gotten messages like ‘You know, I never would have listened to Justin and now I love this song,’ ” Justin says on the new single. “So it’s really great feedback.”

The nominees for the 2012 MTV Movie Awards have been announced!

The new list of nominations for this years show have been posted, revealing that smash-hits Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows: Part 2 and The Hunger Games lead this years nominations with Harry Potter receiving 5 nominations, and the Hunger Games bringing in 6.

Other top movies that were nominated include Breaking Dawn Part 1, The Help, and Project X.

Former Disney sweethearts Demi Lovato and Ashley Tisdale are the newest victims on the next episode of MTV’s PUNK’D!

TV host Nick Cannon will host next Thursday’s episode, as he sets up pranks for both Ashley and Demi. In Ashley’s prank, the High School Musical star encounters an over-enthusiastic window washer while driving in LA, while Demi starts seeing ghosts in the studio.

Actress Vanessa Hudgens was spotted with the giggles out in Los Angeles yesterday (April 26) as she headed out for a bite to eat. Joined by her younger sister Stella Hudgens and a friend, Vanessa was all smiles as the girls used her as a shield when hiding from the cameras.

Dressed in a Wildfox tank and a pink sweater, Vanessa looked pretty in her casual workout attire along with a trendy Chanel purse.

Just last night, Vanessa was featured on MTV’s Punk’d as she was the subject of Lucy Hale‘s prank. Vanessa, along with her sneaky pal Sarah Hyland make their way to a movie screening when they witness a huge crash. Check out the prank here!

Hunger Games actor Josh Hutcherson was featured on the newest episode of MTV’s PUNK’D, along with Pretty Little Liars star Lucy Hale.

On last night’s episode, Lucy helped set up a new prank for Josh who was lead to believe that he was caught in the middle of an investigation by the police after being followed by a bunch of suspicious people.

Josh’s friend and Disney star Kelsey Chow was also a part of the prank!

British boy band The Wanted have just released a brand new music video for their single Chasing the Sun!

The guys filmed the new video in Los Angeles, where they can be seen walking the streets with a bunch of girls.

“Our song ‘Chasing the Sun’ is basically about the party that keeps on going,” Jay McGuiness told MTV.

“There’s certain shots which we’ve just done now which are on a rooftop, and then we’re filming all night until 6 in the morning, and then the last shot, I think, will be us just kind of walking away looking rather disheveled,” revealed Max George of the video shoot. Jay explained, “You always want to do better than your last song, and we’ve always set a really high standard with ‘Glad You Came’ already, but I think we know now from the singles we’ve got in our pocket, there’s no way we’re going anywhere. We’re here to stay, and our songs are going to get better and better. I’m just bragging right now so hard.”

The guys also worked with Director X on the new video, who was also in the works with the boys for their Glad You Came video!

Pretty Little Liars beauty Lucy Hale whips out her devious side as she hosts a new episode of MTV’s PUNK’d. Lucy punked three of her friends in the episode, including Hunger Games hottie Josh Hutcherson, actress Vanessa Hudgens, and her PLL co-star Ian Harding!

She even had a little help from her friend, Modern Family‘s Sarah Hyland.

Teen queen Miley Cyrus has reappeared on the music scene with a brand new music video for her cover of Bob Dylan‘s song You’re Gonna Make Me Lonesome When You Go. The song will be a part of the new album Chimes of Freedom: The Songs of Bob Dylan Honoring 50 Years of Amnesty International, which includes 4-discs of singles covered by artists and is released tomorrow (January 24th).

MTV even gave Miley’s cover a great review! Check out what they had to say:

Miley covers “You’re Gonna Make Me Lonesome When You Go” with all of the mournfulness and dusty sentiment that the classic Dylan song requires, pouring her heart into the track and giving the legend his due instead of simply covering the track and moving on. (It’s hard to top the Shawn Colvin version, but Miley comes dangerously close.)

It takes not only guts but cojones the size of wrecking balls to cover Bob Dylan, and Miley rose to the occasion and not only proved that she’s capable of genres beyond pop but that she thrives vocally in a folk/ country environment. I’m now waiting impatiently for that country album, Milers.
