Cara Delevingne and Nat Wolff kicked off their press tour for their upcoming summer movie Paper Towns on Monday (June 15).
The duo were all smiles in Madrid, where they promoted they attended a photocall at the Villamana Hotel. Cara and Nat were joined by Paper Towns author John Green, where they posed for pictures together before sitting down to talk about the upcoming flick.
While together, Cara also shared a fun dubsmash video on her instagram with Nat and John:
This July, Nat Wolff will be starring alongside Cara Delevingne in the highly anticipated film Paper Towns, based off of the best-selling novel by John Green.
The Fault in Our Stars actor opened up on working with Cara in the new issue of Teen Vogue, where he appears on the new June/July 2015 cover alongside Boom Clap singer Charli XCX.
“It was great being involved in the casting process, which, honestly, I hated it in the beginning because I hate auditioning.” Nat said during his interview with John Green. “I know how awful it is for actors. Cara [Delevingne] came in, and I was the only person in the entire world who hadn’t heard of her. And then she blew me away. She’s the only one who made me feel nervous, because she’s such a spontaneous actress.”
Nat continued, “People think, She’s so hot and so rich—how can she be talented? She’s not an airhead model. She is so talented.”
John Green added, “It makes me so mad, the way people talk about Cara. But it’s also very much the way people talk about Margo in the book. Everything that people say about Cara says way more about them than it does about her. We know Cara. And she is a really talented actress. She’s great in the movie.”
“We’re both weirdos,” Nat said about Cara. “I get along with crazy people better than I get along with the normal people. Normal people are annoying.”
“Weirdly, with this movie, everybody ended up being similar to their characters and somehow got close. We decided to all call each other by our character’s name, which is kind of hokey. The boys had three separate apartments and we stayed in one together every single night. It was so dorky. We liked each other. Movie sets are romantic in that way—you almost delude yourself into believing that the world outside doesn’t exist. We all became so close that we became each other’s worlds. Everybody says on every movie that they “became a family,” and it’s bullsh*t 95 percent of the time. But we became a family.”
Be sure to pick up the new issue of Teen Vogue to see Nat & Charli XCX’s full feature! Paper Towns hits theatres on July 24.
“Quentin and his enigmatic neighbor Margo, who loved mysteries so much she became one. After taking him on an all-night adventure through their hometown, Margo suddenly disappears–leaving behind cryptic clues for Quentin to decipher. The search leads Quentin and his quick-witted friends on an exhilarating adventure that is equal parts hilarious and moving. Ultimately, to track down Margo, Quentin must find a deeper understanding of true friendship–and true love.”
