Singer Carly Rae Jepsen recently collaborated with Nicki Minaj on her new remixed version of Tonight I’m Getting Over You, and now the Canadian pop star has her eyes on some new names that she would love to collaborate with in the future. Among the list of who she would like to work with are singer/songwriter Ne-Yo, and Carly’s boyfriend Matthew Koma.

I actually really interested in maybe working with NeYo,” Carly told E! News. “I met him at the Grammys…and I’m actually really inspired by the songwriting he’s offered so far. So I’d be down with getting in the room and seeing if we could make something cool together.”

“I would definitely work with my boyfriend Matthew Koma again,” she continued. “Believe it or not we’re like super-professional when we get into the studio together. We met while working on ‘This Kiss’ and I think because of how we met, we pop right back into that professional behavior.”

“We’re super, über-polite with each other, it’s funny,” she added.

As for now, the singer isn’t worrying herself too much about coming out with a new hit single to top her chart-topping song Call Me Maybe. “With ‘Call Me Maybe’ it was just like a pleasant surprise to me that it took off,” Carly said. “So I think I’m just going to keep that mentality of not really focusing on the success of music and just more focusing on making good music, and I feel like that way, you can never go wrong.”

Canadian pop singer Carly Rae Jepsen has just released a brand new remixed version of her latest single Tonight I’m Getting Over You, featuring Nicki Minaj.

The song is Carly’s latest single off of her album Kiss, after her mega-hit Call Me Maybe blew up the charts last summer to become one of the biggest hits of the year.

Lately, Carly has been spotted in New York doing some press work for her latest album. In between promoting her music and meeting fans, Carly also participated in the Candies Foundation‘s Teen Pregnancy Awareness month, helping to promote prevention of unwanted teen pregnancies throughout the month of May.

Could Miley Cyrus be sitting at the judges table during the next season of American Idol?

According to E Online, there is a possibility that Dance Again singer Jennifer Lopez may not be returning for the next season of the singing competition, leaving an empty chair to be filled.

Rumour has it that former Idol contestant Adam Lambert is being considered to fill the spot along with other big names such as Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Nicki Minaj, Fergie, and Will.I.Am.

“No one has signed any contracts yet and producers are currently putting out feelers and setting up meetings to see who they can get,” A source revealed to E! “We won’t know if Randy are returning until they see who else is on board.”

According to the source, American Idol is looking to fill the seat with a fresh, younger judge in order to compete with the other singing competition The X Factor which has recruited Britney Spears and Demi Lovato.

Disney beauty Selena Gomez made an appearance on Toronto’s hit show New.Music.Live on Wednesday evening (August 24) after performing in Toronto the night before. The Wizards of Waverly Place beauty met some of her Canadian fans, and even got to drink a mug of pickle juice on-air!

During her appearance Selena also did some rapping from Nicki Minaj‘s hit song Super Bass along with the audience. Check out the video here!
