The Vampire Diaries Cast bring a Hilarious New Trailer to Comic-Con 2014

Posted on 2 min read 908 views

A

fter leaving fans hanging in the season 5 finale of The Vampire Diaries, the cast of the hit CW series dropped by Comic-Con International 2014 to give fans some teasers regarding what’s to come in season 6.

The Vampire Diaries panel opened with a hilarious new Comic-Con trailer, picking up with the season 5 finale where Ian Somerhalder and Kat Graham‘s characters (Damon & Bonnie) are walking into the white light together, leaving the two stars questioning whether or not they were killed off the show.

However, Ian and Kat were still featured on Saturday’s panel (July 26), where they joined co-stars Nina Dobrev, Paul Wesley, and Matthew Davis to dish on the show.

During the panel, it was revealed that season 6 will kick-off four months after the finale, showing all the characters getting over the finale’s events in different ways.

As for the fate of Bonnie and Damon, Ian suggested possible ‘shipper’ names for a potential budding relationship between the characters : “I definitely think Bamon’s better than Donnie.”

Kat added: “I would definitely say you’ll see more interaction between them.” More interaction, hubba hubba!

“Right now the love between Damon and Elena is so strong,” Producer Julie Plec said on Stefan and Elena getting back together, “And the friendship between Stefan and Elena has grown strong.”

Ian also shared his feelings on Elena’s relationships with Damon and Stefan, saying: “Does no one realize that this woman should not be with either of these guys?”
