After breaking a Tuesday debut record with its release on July 3rd, The Amazing Spider-Man fans will have more big news – they can expect TWO more spiderman films!

On the day of its release, it was posted on the official Facebook page dropped hints at what’s to come in the trilogy.

“It’s finally here! The Amazing Spider-Man is the first installment in a movie trilogy that will explore how our fave hero’s journey was shaped by the disappearance of his parents. Get your tix here: http://bit.ly/ASM_tix & tell us what you think in the comments below!”

Meanwhile, the stars of the movie Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone have been busy promoting the film, with their latest stop being the silly spanish show El Hormiguero. You can catch some adorable pictures of the real life couple getting goofy on the show right here.

Are YOU happy the movie is part of a trilogy?

The highly anticipated movie The Hunger Games will be making its way into theaters in March 2012, and now the official motion poster for the film has been released! The film stars Jennifer Lawrence, along with Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth.

The film is not the only one in the series, Lionsgate is said to have plans to produce two sequals Mockingjay and Catching Fire!
