Looks like Selena Gomez is showing off her maturity not only in her new music, but also in her movies!

While at the Hangover Part III premiere on Monday (May 20), actress Jamie Chung spoke with E News about her new movie Rudderless, which she stars alongside the 20-year-old Selena. According the Jamie, Rudderless is a dark drama following the aftermath of a murder.

“It’s the parents’ perspective of being the parents of a murderer, a mass murder like Sandy Hook,” Jamie explained. “You never get to hear the parents’ perspective of dealing with the hurt and the betrayal and the anger and the love. It’s a really interesting angle on a story like that. It’s pretty dark but it’s kind of beautiful in a way.”

As for Selena, Jamie said that Selena is definitely heading in a different direction from her Disney days. “The thing is, she’s so talented, you’re really going to see a different side,” she said. “It’s going to be a bit more fragile. I think it’s a side you’ve never seen of her. It’s quite fantastic.”

Jamie added, “It’s dark. But she’s always so lovely.”

This isn’t the first time Jamie and Selena have worked together, the pair both starred in the Disney Channel Original Movie Princess Protection Program back in 2009!

Yesterday afternoon, 19-year-old star Miley Cyrus was spotted looking trendy as she went for a walk wearing a Wildfox Couture Seeing Stars Lennon Sweater along with black converse sneakers.

Fellow former Disney star Ashley Tisdale is also a fan of the oversized star sweater, as she was seen wearing the same one last summer as she made her way through the LAX Airport.

Green Lantern star Blake Lively stepped out this afternoon (November 18th) in New York City to unveil the Swarovski Star, which will crown the 2010 Rockefeller Center Christmas in the Rockefeller Plaza. Dressed in a fashionable embellished jacket and some red tights, Blake was all smiles as she presented the newest star.

Blake has been hard at work on the fourth season of her hit show Gossip Girl, which airs Mondays on the CW!

iCarly actress Miranda Cosgrove has just landed a new edgy role! The Nickelodeon star will be guest starring on the popular drama The Good Wife.

Miranda will be playing Sloan, a popstar who gets arrested after driving under the influence.

“We’re big iCarly fans, so we really couldn’t think of anyone better for this role than Miranda Cosgrove,” says the show’s execs. “We were thrilled when she agreed to do it. It’ll be fun to see her handle both the comedy and drama in the role, and we can’t wait to see how she’ll play across from Julianna.”
