The CW’s Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, and Legends of Tomorrow Crossover to be titled ‘Crisis on Earth-X’

Posted on 1 min read 28 views

Are you ready for another CW DC Crossover?

The network has announced that it will be doing another crossover between its hit DC shows The Flash, Arrow, Supergirl and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow this upcoming season, in a special episode titled “Crisis on Earth-X.”

Deadline unveiled the specially created artwork for the crossover today, which the CW and Warner Bros. had comic artist Phil Jimenez (Wonder Woman) create for their latest annual crossover.

Executive Producers and Marc Guggenheim and Andrew Kreisberg spoke to Deadline about the crossover and its artwork, saying:

“We conceived this year’s crossover to be evocative of the annual Justice League/Justice Society crossovers we grew up with and looked forward to as kids. Phil was the perfect choice to bring the comic book cover iteration of this idea to life. You can count on one hand the number of artists who could compellingly represent so many characters in a single image. Phil is one of them. And his design invokes the cover of Justice League #207, which was the 20th Annual JLA/JSA crossover. Our ten year-old selves are in heaven.”

Crisis on Earth-X is set to air on Monday, Nov. 27 and Tuesday, Nov. 28 on the CW — be sure to tune-in to see all the action!

The CW Planning the Ultimate DC Crossover Episode

Posted on 1 min read 20 views

Now that Supergirl is moving from CBS to the CW for its upcoming second season, fans of the DC Universe can expect a huge cross-over episode featuring all of the network’s superhero shows!

During the CW Upfront presentation in New York City on Thursday (May 19), CW president Mark Pedowitz teased an upcoming crossover episode coming this winter, saying: “our annual crossover event this fall (will) be the biggest one ever.”

Supergirl will be the CW’s fourth DC series, joining Arrow, The Flash, and Legends of Tomorrow.

Pedowitz also states that Supergirl is now “where it should have been in the first place,” and that not much will change in terms of the show’s production: “I don’t think (the move) will have a major effect on how they actualize what they do.”

‘Supergirl’ is Moving to the CW for Season 2

Posted on 1 min read 22 views

Supergirl will officially be back for a second season – but on another network.

Deadline has reported that the CW has picked up the show for it’s new season, moving it from its current home at CBS.

With this new move, Supergirl (starring Melissa Benoist) will be joining the CW’s expanding DC universe, joining their current shows The Flash, Arrow, and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. Supergirl has already had a cross-over with The Flash in its first season, and this new network change will make it easier to integrate the character with the other shows.

As with the other CW DC shows, Supergirl will also be making the move from Los Angeles to Vancouver for the filming of the second season.

We’re happy to see Supergirl get another season!
