Posted on 1 min read 78 views

Newly solo singer Camila Cabello is taking fans behind the scenes of her first solo tour in a new YouTube documentary series!

The former Fifth Harmony member documented her time on the road opening for Bruno Mars on his 24K Magic Tour, where she opened up about the nerves she faced going onstage alone.

“I remember the first show, I was so intimidated,” Camila said in the first episode of her documentary. “I was so scared.”

“There was like a switch in I think the second or third show where I was like ‘Wait a second, these people aren’t judging me. They’re there to have a good time,’” she said.

“
I felt like when I looked at it different and I switched my perspective on it, my mindset was always just like, come at the crowd every night. It’s definitely good that I have to earn an applause. It’s the best training,” Camila said.

Meghan Trainor talks new album ‘Thank You’: “It’s more of the music that I enjoy”

Posted on 2 min read 66 views

With just one day to go until the release of Meghan Trainor‘s new album Thank You, the No singer has dished on what fans can expect from her second album in a new interview with Entertainment Tonight.

“It’s more of the music that I enjoy,” she says. “I was afraid that I would be trapped as a doo-wop artist from that first album, so this one I wanted to prove that I can do more genres.”

Meghan revealed that her songs were inspired by pop songs from the late ’90s and early ’00s. She says that while writing her hit No, she thought: “What do I wish was still on the radio? And I was like, ‘*NSYNC, Destiny’s Child, Britney Spears.'”

As for her song written for her mom titled Mom, Meghan says:

“You know the Britney Spears song, ‘Lucky’? Where it’s like, a big bomb and then it has the, ‘And here she is, it’s Lucky!’ I was like, ‘I want one of those,'” she says. “So we called [my mom] up at work and I was just like, ‘I love you, I love you so much. Just tell me you love me’ and we recorded it and got it.'”

“I texted her after and she’s like, ‘Ugh! I hate you!'” she added. “‘Cause, you know, you hear your voice — on a phone call especially — and you’re like, ‘Is that what I sound like?’ So she said, ‘If this doesn’t make the album, that’s OK.’ I was like ‘Ma! It’s gonna be on there.'”

Later on this summer, Meghan will be hitting the road on her Untouchable Tour to perform for fans across North America – starting on July 21.

Meghan reveals that the tour will be: “bigger, with more dancers and new songs, new routines — and we’re jumping this time. We’re dancing a lot. It’s gonna be great, I can’t wait!”

Be sure to check out Meghan’s new album Thank You when it drops tomorrow (May 13)!

Taylor Swift talks Life on the Road: “It’s not that hard”

Posted on 2 min read 59 views

While many believe that living life on the road is not an easy life, singer Taylor Swift says she thinks it’s: “not that hard. I’m telling you now, it’s really not.”

Taylor just kicked off her 1989 World Tour this month, and will be travelling all over the world performing her hit songs for sold-out crowds.

The singer reveals that now she’s playing her shows in stadiums, life is much easier than when she was playing smaller shows more frequently.

“Sometimes I really don’t think it’s that hard at all,” Taylor said during her interview on BBC Radio 1. “When I was starting out I’d go on tour for three months and I was gone for three months.”

“Now almost 10 years in, thank God we get to play bigger shows so I don’t have to play as many.”

Taylor continued, “If we’re playing stadiums, I’ll do two or three a week, not five shows a week. Then I get to fly home in between. It’s not that bad.”
On the bad side of touring, Taylor said: “I do have to leave my cats behind when I leave the country, which is the hardest part.”

Taylor Swift

Now that she’s back on the road promoting her hit album 1989, Taylor has revealed that she’s having a blast performing for her fans.

“The best part of this, when you walk off stage and you’re drenched in sweat and you’re tired and your legs hurt – it feels like you’re really working for the job,” she said.

“It’s nice to feel tired after a show. I’m like, ‘Oh my God, I’m finally doing something!’”

Taylor’s next stop on her tour will be in Detroit for a show this Saturday (May 30), before heading off to Louisville, Kentucky and Cleveland, Ohio next Tuesday and Wednesday (June 2 & 3).
