Pop star Ariana Grande was spotted making an appearance on Good Morning America on Tuesday morning (September 15), where she sat down to chat about the donut-licking controversy from earlier this year and her upcoming projects.
During her interview, Ariana publicly apologized for the “Donut Gate” incident, where she was caught on camera licking random donuts without buying them and saying “I hate America”.
“There’s no excuse or there’s nothing to justify it,” Ariana said. “I think that as human beings we all say and do things we don’t mean at all sometimes, and we have to learn from it. I mean that’s part of our process. We have to learn from our mistakes and that’s how we grow.”
Ariana also revealed that she has since learned “what it feels like to disappoint so many people who love and believe in you.”
The 22-year-old Break Free singer has also just released her debut fragrance Ari By Ariana Grande, which she helped to create by combining her favourite sweet scents.
In addition, the singer will be releasing a brand new single soon, and revealed that the official announcement of the new song will be happening this week!
We can’t wait to hear what new music Ariana has in store!
