Tyler Posey Apologizes For Saying “I’m Gay” In Snapchat Video

Tyler Posey has apologized for controversial Snapchat video.

The Teen Wolf actor shared a video on Snapchat on Friday (July 29) of himself hanging out with friends, where he filmed a street sign reading “Gay St.,” while saying “This is me. I am this and this is me. I’ve never felt more alive. I’m gay!”

After the video circulated around the Internet, many speculated that Tyler had used the Snapchat video to come out.

However, Tyler took to his Twitter page on Saturday (July 30) to set the record straight about his sexuality while apologizing to any people he may have offended with the video.

He wrote:

“I am a big proponent of love over hate, and standing together during divisive times … Although I’m not gay, I fully support the LGBTQ community. This was a moment intended to reflect that… And everyone, I am truly sorry to the people I’ve offended or lessened how big coming out is. I just want to spread love in this world.”
