Kylie Bubury, the star of FOX’s new series Pitch, made her first-ever appearance on The Ellen Show today to promote the new baseball-themed show.
The former Twisted actress revealed that Pitch is her very first leading role, and that she had never played baseball before the show – even though she plays the first woman to play Major League Baseball.
“I had two and a half months to learn how to pitch before,” Kylie explained.
“It’s hard! Learning the dry mechanics, it’s a totally different way that your body moves,” she said. “But I picked it up quite quickly.”
Kylie later expressed her excitement about appearing on Ellen, writing on Instagram:
“No, this is not photoshopped, but I still can’t believe it either! Catch me on @theellenshow today talking all things cats, toasters & #Pitch. @lukebryan was the lead guest, so if I don’t entice you to watch maybe he will… #WhatAnExperience <3"
You can catch Kylie in Pitch every Thursday on FOX at 9/8 central!
