Game of Thrones actress Emilia Clarke has landed a role in the upcoming romance, Let Me Count the Ways.
According to Screen Daily, Emilia will be playing poet Elizabeth Barrett in the film, which will be produced by Bankside Films and directed by Björn Runge.
The movie, named after Elizabeth’s poem How Do I Love Thee? Let Me Count the Ways, will take place in the 19th century and will follow Elizabeth’s romance with fellow poet Robert Browning.
After gaining worldwide fame for her poetry, Barrett, fragile and weakened by a mysterious illness, lives as a virtual recluse in London. When the youthful Browning brings renewed sensuality and passion to her life, her widowed father Edward fights to keep his control over her.
In the meantime, you can catch Emilia on Game of Thrones, which is currently airing its final season every Sunday at 9 PM EST on HBO.
