Singer Justin Bieber has caused some controversy online after posting on his social media in support of singer Chris Brown, calling his past actions “a mistake.”
After rising to fame in 2005, Chris fell out of favor in the public eye after assaulting Rihanna in 2009. In 2015, Chris’ ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran was granted a 5-year restraining order against Chris after he allegedly threatened to kill her, and the singer was also accused of rape earlier this year.
Justin posted a photo of Michael Jackson, 2 Pac, and Chris on his Instagram page to speak about Chris, writing in the caption:
“everyone wants to wait til people die To give them the credit they deserve. I’m calling it now when CB passes away after a long full life, you will miss what you had in front of you the whole time … trust me watch you will see. the people who have over looked this mans talent because of a mistake he made.. you need to reevaluate! Love you @chrisbrownofficial”

Chris commented on Justin’s post, saying: ” I love you man! Thank you for believing in me. Your star shines so bright and your heart is unmatched! You are a king but more importantly you were put here to inspire and create endless possibilities bro! Im with ya till the wheels fall off and when they do … we gone get some new wheels.”
Recently, the band CHVRCHES spoke out condemning Marshmellow (who they worked with for their song Here with Me) for working with Chris Brown and Tyga.
“We are really upset, confused and disappointed by Marshmello’s choice to work with Tyga and Chris Brown,” CHVRCHES wrote on their Twitter page. “We like and respect Mello as a person but working with people who are predators and abusers enables, excuses and ultimately tacitly endorses that behavior. That is not something we can or will stand behind.”
Afterwards, Chris addressed CHVRCHES’ comments, saying he hoped they “walked in front of a speeding bus full of mental patients.”
Chris added, “Keep groveling over your own insecurities and hatred. IM BLACK AND PROUD,” he continued. “AND I KNOW IT HURTS THAT U GUYS ARE STRUGGLING WIT LIFE OR PEACE SO U ARE FORCED TO SEE MY SUCCESS.”
Since then, CHVRCHES has revealed that they’ve had to beef up their security after receiving death threats from Chris Brown and Tyga fans.
