Singer Shawn Mendes was spotted out in New York City on Monday evening (May 13), as he attended the Robin Hood Benefit 2019 at the Jacob Javitz Center.
During this year’s benefit, which was themed Robin Hood to the Power of You, Shawn served as one of the night’s performers, along with Pharell and stand-up comedian Sebastian Maniscalco.
The benefit was held by Robin Hood, the largest anti-poverty organization in New York City, and all proceeds from the event will help support more than 200 community partners working to fight poverty in NYC.
In honor of the event, Shawn also teamed up with The Empire State Building for a special light show along with his latest single If I Can’t Have You. Check it out:
Shawn also announced that he will be playing a surprise show tonight (May 14) in New York at 8PM EST. Fans can watch the show online via the live stream here.
