Actress Daisy Ridley dropped by Good Morning America on Wednesday (June 26), where she sat down with the show’s hosts to talk all about her new movie Ophelia and what’s to come in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywallker.
While discussing her new movie, Daisy revealed that she didn’t feel intimidated by taking on the iconic role of Ophelia from Shakespeare‘s Hamlet, but was instead intimidated by the scale of her role.
“It did very much feel like the first time I was the lead of a film, so that felt a bit intimidating,” she said.
Daisy also spoke about what it was like starring alongside Tom Felton, saying:
“I’m a huge Harry Potter fan. Huge. I don’t even think he knows.”
“I really love Harry Potter. I’m a big fan,” Daisy said. “So far I’ve met Hermione, Harry. I never met Ron, and I’ve met Draco.”
“And he got to be my brother, it’s awesome,” she added.
During her appearance, Daisy also talked about wearing a wig for her role in Ophelia and some of the iconic scenes she shot, along with how emotional it was filming Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.
