While he may have a collaborations album on the way, Ed Sheeran also has an additional collab in the works — a collaboration with Heinz Ketchup.
The singer announced his new partnership on Instagram this week, posting a photo of himself kissing a bottle of ketchup reading “Heinz Tomato Edchup.”
“It’s actually real and you’ll be able to get your hands on one very soon,” Ed captioned the photo, adding: “#Edchup #KetchupDay#EDxHEINZ#TheDreamThatKeepsOnGiving#Advert”
According to People, Edchup officially went up for on sale on Wednesday through a special Ed Sheeran X Heinz website. On the site, fans could get a 32-ounce bottle of Edchup for $5 plus shipping, but quickly sold out (despite there being a 5 bottle per order limit).
Back in April, Ed gave Heinz a shout out on Instagram, calling himself their “biggest fan.” He wrote:
“Yo @heinz I have an idea for a tv ad if you wanna do one, if not I won’t be offended, I could never be mad at you. Slide in my DMs or have your people call my people. Lots of love, your biggest fan x”
Looks like dreams really do come true!
Ed’s other collaboration project, his album titled No. 6 Collaborations Project, will drop on July 12.
