The cast of Netflix’s hit series Stranger Things made a special appearance on Good Morning America this Wednesday (June 12), to talk about the upcoming new season of their show.
Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Finn Wolfhard, Caleb McLaughlin, Sadie Sink, and Noah Schnapp were all on-hand to talk about the show, where they spoke about the tone of the new season, the relationships between their characters, and more.
“It’s definitely gorier, which is pretty cool,” Gaten said on season three. “If you don’t like gory stuff, watch it anyway ’cause it’s cool. But yeah it’s not for the faint of heart as some would say.”
As for what it’s like shooting romantic scenes, Finn revealed that “there’s nothing awkward about it.”
“I think because we’re such good friends I think that it’s pretty easy for us to..” Millie said before Finn added, “Just get in and out of it?”
“As actors you just have to prepare for it and the Duffers made a really comfortable set,” Finn said.
“And we’ve been doing it for three years,” Millie added. “We’re comfortable!”
During their interview, Sadie also spoke about the importance of having a strong female friendship storyline on the show, and the group also talked about getting to wear some 80s fashion.

Stranger Things season 3 premieres on Netflix on July 4.
