Watch: Sophie Turner on her most embarrassing moment & friendship with Maisie Williams during dinner with Jessica Chastain

In a new video for Vogue Paris, actress Sophie Turner sat down for dinner in Paris with her Dark Phoenix co-star Jessica Chastain, where they talked about their careers, most embarrassing moments, and more.

After sitting down at the restaurant together, Sophie and Jessica reminisced on their first time meeting each other, with Sophie revealing that she was actually scared to meet her co-star.

“We met on the set of Dark Phoenix, and I was terrified to meet you,” Sophie said.

“You’re not scary. I think because I hate meeting celebrities, idols, because I just embarrass myself. I get so scared.”

“But it happens with everyone. You’re not special,” Sophie joked. “But then I met you and you were lovely.”

Sophie also revealed an embarrassing moment during their dinner, which had to do with playing a part where she got her period on-screen.

“When I was I think 13 or 14 I had to have my period on screen and I kept having to like — it was so embarrassing — I had to like lift up my dress and the director would be like ‘Blood!’ like chucking blood on me. And they had a camera right there in my crotch,” she said.

But now that she’s older and more experienced in the television and movie industry, Sophie also revealed that she wants to try her hand at producing and directing in the future.

“As an actor, you can only have so much creative control,” Sophie said. “I want to be able to have full creative control and create my own vision, and that’s something I’m quite passionate about.”

Sophie also said she’d love to make a movie about her “intense friendship” with her Game of Thrones co-star and BFF Maisie Williams in the future.

“My best friend Maisie — who’s on Game of Thrones with me, who plays Arya — she and I have a very intense friendship, a friendship that I haven’t had with any of my other girlfriends before,” Sophie said. “We felt like we wanted to write a movie about a friendship where it’s kind of like you’re soulmates, but you’re friends, and it’s like this beautiful connection, but it can also be quite destructive.”
