Tom Holland made an appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Monday (June 24), where he promoted his new movie Spider-Man: Far From Home while also helping find some adorable puppies a new home.
During his appearance, Tom joined Stephen for a special segment called Rescue Dog Rescue, where he and Stephen showcased puppies in need of a home while making up super hero-themed stories about them to help them get adopted.
Tom also sat down for an interview during the show, where he spoke about filming the latest Spider-Man installment close to his parents’ house, and how that meant his parents could easily visit him on set.
“No one gives me notes like my mum does,” Tom said, before imitating what she’d say, saying “‘Really, you’re going to do it like that?'”
“I owe everything to my lovely mum,” Tom said. “She did everything for me growing up when I was going for auditions and she was the one who was like ‘You’ve got to stretch if you want to be in Billy Elliot!’ And I didn’t stretch, but I was lucky enough to get the job.”
“My mum’s an amazing lady,” he added.
Tom also spoke about his dog and about working out with co-star Jake Gyllenhaal during his interview — check it out below!
Spider-Man: Far From Home hits theaters on July 2.
