Zendaya made a special appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Tuesday (June 25), where she promoted her upcoming flick Spider-Man: Far From Home and her new HBO series Euphoria.
During her appearance, Zendaya revealed that while most of the stunts in Spider-Man are left up to her co-star Tom Holland, she did film one particular stunt with him that had the pair flying in the air.
“There is one thing we got to do, it was this big kind of Spidey swing through New York,” Zendaya said. “And so what they had us do is they attached a camera to Tom and attached us together, and they lifted us I want to say 110 feet.”
Zendaya then explained that they shot the pair flying from 110 feet in the air — but the footage ended up on the cutting room floor.
“And we did it, and it was amazing, and I’m proud of myself for doing it,” Zendaya said. “The thing is, they didn’t end up using that.”
“We re-shot it. And guess how we re-shot it? We re-shot it two feet above the ground with wind machines.”
“And it looked better!” Zendaya added.
During her segment, Zendaya also revealed why she chose to take on her role in Euphoria and dished on Tom’s bromance with Jake Gyllenhaal. Check out her appearance below!
In case you missed it, Zendaya’s co-star Tom Holland also dropped by Colbert one day earlier. Check out his appearance here!
Euphoria is now airing on Sunday nights on HBO.
Spider-Man: Far From Home hits theaters on July 2.
