Ariana Grande Breaks Voter-Registration Record with Sweetner Tour

Ariana Grande is not only bringing in ticket sales with her Sweetner World Tour, but she’s also bringing in voter registrations for the 2020 presidential election.

Ariana has partnered with HeadCount for her latest tour, which is a non-profit organization that uses “the power of music to register voters and promote participation in democracy.”

Through the partnership, fans can register to vote on-site during her concert and receive a ‘thank u, next gen’ sticker.

According to CNBC, more than 17,000 voters have been registered through HeadCount this year, with Ariana’s tour being the most successful solo artist tour the organization has seen since 2008. Since kicking off in March, Ariana’s tour has reportedly brought in twice as many voters compared to any other tour over the last three years.

Upon hearing the news, Ariana took to Twitter to thank fans for registering, writing:

“this is so exciting! thank you to everybody who’s been heading to the booths before the shows and taking the time to register. let’s keep going @HeadCountOrg! ☁☁☁”

Ariana announced her partnership after kicking off the tour in March, writing: “so excited to partner w @headcountorg to bring voter registration & participation to all of the US stops on the @sweetener tour. visit the headcount booth at the show to use your voice and get your ‘thank u, next gen’ sticker 🖤🌫 If you can’t be there to register on-site, text ‘Ariana’ to 40649 🌫 each and every one of you makes a difference. #thankunextgen 🌒”

Ariana began her Sweetner world tour on March 18, and will be continue to tour until December, 21, 2019. She’ll hit the stage next in Milwaukee, WI on Friday (July 4), before heading to Saint Louis the following day for another show.
